Purchased a Collins Axe mattock from this location a few months ago. I ended up having a manufacturers defect issue with it. As I was explaining what happend to the employee (darker toned skin, possibly Hispanic, early to mid 30s) he rudely cut me off and said since it was used he wouldnt do anything for me. I tried asking him to help me get contact info for Collins Axe and he said "its used, theres nothing I can (will) do." I left upset and frustrated. Unless the management is willing to reach out to me to help me out (and hopefully writing up their rude employee), this will be my only transaction with this location and possible the entire company. I could have given just as much money to a company that would have listened and probably sells better products. Its no wonder Ace Hardware is just a few years shy from going out of business.

I love that there is an ace hardware in this store. The hardware I purchased was very reasonable. As long as I was there I picked up some groceries. The only negative is that they require that you provide your contact information in order receive savings. This is common to many 2nd rate grocery stores, but even those will scan their own card if needed. Ridleys will not. I will still shop if I need hardware, but I probably wont buy groceries, especially with target so close.

I love Ridleys. I go in about every week, and I know most of the employees by sight, if not by name... and several of them know me. I love getting meat and cheese from the deli, and I rarely have to wait. I also think they have good sales on the deli. I think theyre fairly competitive to smiths and maceys. I like that its not crowded at ridleys and it makes my shopping go faster.

Have been working on a big project and have gone in several times looking for this or that. The bolts/screws/etc that they sell are cheap pieces of crap. I usually have to buy half again as many screws that I need, because the heads break off with very little effort. Not I have a giant bolt stuck in the side of our piano that looks terrible. Buy your fasteners somewhere else.

Overpriced and smells bad inside. I waited 5 minutes at the register, no one showed up. I left. Go to Harmons or Smiths.

I will visit Ridleys when its convenient to do so, but I prefer Maceys or Harmons when at all possible.

Fantastic selection, pretty near anything you might want or need.
