Been searching for a car for months - contacting various dealerships throughout NJ and PA... and it seemed that no one was interested in selling me a car! There I was with my wallet in hand...... I got nothing! Even my BMW dealership - after giving them detailed descriptions on what I was looking for - did virtually nothing to help me. Finally! Doug Avella from Town Porsche contacts me via email and has the car I want. No pressure, no BS... just, hey, I heard you were looking for this car and weve got it. I waited a month before I went to see it. I wanted to keep shopping to see if any of the other options would work out and then I received a follow up email from Doug. Hey, that car is still here - why dont you take it for a test drive? So, off I went to the dealership. It was a cozy gem in the middle of Englewood, filled with gorgeous vehicles. Besides the impeccable cars - the staff was super friendly and Doug was even better in person. There was no hard selling - he was genuine, thoughtful and most of all, wanted me to be happy. How nice it that! Of course the test drive was amazing and I drove home my 2010 Porsche Boxster (Black/Black manual) with the top down - in the glorious sunshine through the picturesque New Jersey autumn foliage - the best ride Ive ever had. Thanks to Doug Avella and to Miguel Santos (who did the financing) I have the most awesome vehicle ever! Thats Inspiring!

Town Porsche and Will Gakos prove that there is still honesty in the car business. Ive never bought a preowned car sight unseen, and I had a bit of apprehension about it. However, I was able to find the perfect CPO 911 Carrera at Town Porsche. Will Gakos was very communicative and upfront about all details about the vehicle and its history. He was able to spend time via Facetime video conference to give me a visual walkthrough of the 911. The only thing I could not experience by evaluating the car remotely is how it actually drove and how it smelled! However, with a Porsche Approved warranty, my mind was put at ease about the cars mechanical soundness. Will and Marc Faraj, the general manager, are very professional and easy to work with. Marcy, in service, was even able to help pull together service history for the car. The actual transaction was very smooth. Town Porsche had a very reasonable price, and I did not have to do any haggling. They have done a great many out-of-state transactions, so the finance personnel were easily able to send me the paperwork to be signed and notarized. They were even able to take care of tax, title, & license in my home state, so I wouldnt have to deal with those matters on my own. The car was loaded onto a transport carrier, and a week later, I was able to enjoy the as-promised car.

Great dealership, helpful and courteous staff. I rate them with 3 stars for minor reasons but enough to stick in my mind as concerning. The sales team is fairly small and the on hand inventory is limited on certain vehicle choices. Also the sales person I worked with did not seem to be aware of the engine differences between a Panamera 4 and the Panamera 4s and insisted I was wrong regarding the single turbo in the 4 versus the twin-turbo 4s. If the sales person does not know the difference, then insists the customer is wrong it makes it difficult to move forward with any other part of the discussion. I am not by any stretch a horse power junkie but I do spend a heck of a lot of time researching any vehicle I plan to purchase and that includes manufacturer build, technical bulletins and specifications before I make an acquisition. I search the owner forums to find out about the gremlins every car has in current and previous model years, when I am done I go to a dealer armed with full knowledge of a car, from financing to TCO. I do not consider myself a know it all, just a careful consumer, who wants to be treated with respect and decency.

I had Towne Porsche perform a PPI on my 2007 911 GT3 that I was planning to buy. I wanted to make sure it got a thorough look over with a reputable dealer before buying the car. The inspection report came back with a few items to follow up on but nothing that was a deal breaker. I proceeded to buy the car and immediately took it to my local car mechanic (30 year Porsche expert) to change some fluids (maintenance items) at which point he informed me the limited slip differential was completely broken and was easily demonstrated to me with a 5 second test. The replacement cost? $3-5k! Clearly, Towne Porsche had totally missed this. When I called the them up to let the know about this the service manager, Sal, was defensive and argumentative and said that the only way they could have missed this was if the differential had broken during the drive from them to my local car mechanic. He was completely unwilling to take any responsibility or even refund the cost of my inspection. I would stay clear of this dealership to anyone looking for a PPI.

The brands sells itself. Porsche aficionados like myself expect new acquisitions to be priced fairly evenly among dealers. The sales process is important but fleeting. Putting aside that momentary high one experiences when taking delivery of a new vehicle, whats most important is selecting a dealership is the level of satisfaction with the service department, including the personalized nature of the care and attention youre given. Ive owned over 15 new vehicles, and without doubt,Town Motors service department is the best I have encountered. Their service proposition is outstanding. They go well beyond the call of duty. My experience ranges from pick up and re-delivery of my vehicles, expert repairs and reasonably priced maintenance, to emergency services in my office garage. Marcy Gross--my primary point of contact-- is a top tier professional and an absolute pleasure. She gets the job done!

I am an out of state customer (Ca.). I saw an online ad for the vehicle I was searching for. Having never purchased a car sight unseen I was somewhat nervous about the experience. I dealt solely with Will Gakos and could not be more satisfied. He was fair, straight forward, accessible, an made sure that my car was in "Showroom Shape" prior to shipping. My car departed the dealership during the holiday season. Will personally met the transport after hours to ensure a timely delivery. He stayed in touch with me through the entire purchasing and transport process. He truly made my experience feel as though i was physically at the dealership. He followed up with me post delivery and continues to stay in touch. This was one of the finest, most professional car purchasing experiences I have ever had.

I bought a Panamera about 3 months and the experience with nothing short of incredible. They went above and beyond to get me a car and a price I would be happy with. They were totally efficient and professional. Doug Avella, Evan Gemma and Miguel Santos were all a pleasure to deal with (high knowledge and low pressure!) I have 2 other Porsche dealers that are actually closer to my home but I am a Town Porsche customer as long as these guys are there. My wife called multiple times before and after the purchase with questions and she was always treated with the utmost respect, had all her questions answered and was made aware that any and all calls were always welcomed. I was so impressed I am now looking for a 911 for myself and there is only one place and one group of guys that will make that sale.
