As a customer I was completely disrespected. My artist showed up 45 minutes late to the appointment. Then while talking about what I wanted to have permanently put on MY body, I kept hearing things like "That wont look good. Oh, no you dont want that, oh that color wont be right." Okay.. After coming to a sort of compromise where neither of us really liked the design, I am then told to pay an additional $200...even though Ive already paid the quoted price! But we work that out too. Then the artist starts tattooing and goes over & over my tattoo, in excess of 5-8 times over the whole design. A tattoo 4 inches across took 4.5 hours! It was excruciating. It got to the point that my skin was a bloody mess with no skin left to hold ink. My tattoo took 1 month to heal, and leaked puss and ink for 1 week. I had color loss in parts, and pitting that never healed. After 6 months I called to go in for a touch up, which was free by store policy. But when I tried to make an appointment, the artist claimed it would be another $80. No surprise there. It was only after I went to another artist for my touch ups that I realized how miserable this experience was.

After an extensive search for an artist that specializes in Asian Realism I contacted My Tattoo approximately 2-3 years ago to set up a consultation appointment. Andy responded promptly and made the meeting happen with Jess. Why did I decide to have a tattoo by Jess Yen? Simple, I want the best. Years later I am still coming to the shop roughly 4-6 times a year to finish my piece, which is coming beautifully. Residing in San Francisco makes it somewhat difficult at times however I always try to make it when there is an opening whether it is at the shop in Alhambra, Huntington Beach, or a convention. Not only is the environment very relaxed the people are amazing. The entire shop- Man, Lucy, Andy, Kohei, Mario, Damien, Alex, Will, Duy are all extremely welcoming and ridiculously talented. Because of the large piece there has many late nights filled with laughs and stories at the shop. I came in expecting to meet an amazing tattoo artist and getting a bit of work done but have grown to see everyone as extended family. They just so happen to be amazing tattoo artists.

Professional, Experienced, and Accommodating. After months of research on artist in the area; I came to select this location. They are a good group of artist that are willing to help you reach your tattoo idea, creating tattoo designs off ideas and brought in images. I have never experienced anything negative in the 5 years that I have been coming to this shop. Its good to know that they are branching out. Highly Recommended!!

Rather than help me to fix old bad shaped tattoos, some redheaded girl up front suggested I go get laser removal before they can help me. Went to 3 other shops that were very willing to help me with ideas, patterns, camouflage options, and didnt suggest thousands of dollars of laser removal. So basically My Tattoo has no brains, no creativity, and can only work with a blank canvas. Sad. I had 500 bucks cash when I walked in...

He was conscientious and professional, designing my custom art around my directions and preferences. Even partially completed, Horishins work has drawn incredible positive attention. My tattoo in Alhambra is the best tattoo parlor there is. They are one of the best tattoo shops with the most talented and kind artists. Their awards on the walls speak for themselves. Their prices are more than fair for the work they do, and they are incredibly punctual and respectful. Give them a shout next time you need a tattoo!!

I went in to get my nipple done and the staff were great. They all seemed professional and talented and the guy who pierced me was very gentle. I got it done for 40 with a stainless steel barbell included and was very happy with it. Check it out if youre in the area.

Love it here have had all my tattoos done here. Its a bit too pricey than other shops but your paying for quality not quantity! Kohei has done all my tattoos and recomend him!
