Ive worked for this company for 5 years and never in my life of working have i experienced so much unprofessionalism within the last atleast 2 years i remain there. The cashiers do as they please with no respect for the managers. The floor clerks work like slaves with no appreciation whatsoever from the gm instead they get negatively/talked down on by the store manager (Ken Dowd) as if they are children in grade school (ive heard it one too many times) the asst. Manager (Tanya Borges) talks the same exact way that causes the employess to be intimidated by her. She had complaints frm employees saying that she was going to "fire" them if they dont do as she say. Never in my life of working with a buisness have i seen an asst. Manager so unprofessional with so many complaints from customers AND employees and still have a position with an company, FAVORITISM is at a all time high with this place. This place is messy, dramatized to the core and very unprofessional. I will not recommend anybody to be interested in working for this location. not the company itself, but for SOBT location specifically. Things will not be right in the store until they clean house with the entire management staff including the gm and start fresh. Every single person in there is involved with some sort of drama except a selected few mostly older employees. Not to mention employees having PERSONAL relationships with other employees. The list really do goes on with that place. The store manager do not care about providing excellent customer service, hes more so worried about the money aspect of the business and making sales. He too have many complaints. I myself as an former employee have been lied on, falsely accused of things that i did NOT say or do. I was even involved in character defamation in which ken himself told me i can file a lawsuit on but told me the situation will get taking care of but NEVER was. I believe there is some sort of outside work from supposedly "customers" thats being done for certain managers that works there Ppl in whom they may know personally. I can recall bibi (Customer Service Supervisor) mentioning to me that she can get ppl she know to go next door and complain on certain ppl she didnt care for. Its sad to say but for this location every man is for himself, theres no such thing as a "team" when it comes to SOBT Goodwill. There was a survey that was taking amongst the staff recently in which i feel been some "foul play" has been taking place, management have access to take it however many times they choose to ANONYMOUSLY. I feel like the corporate/ Human resources do a very poor job with figuring out the difference between lies and the actual truth when it comes to certain situations working at that mad house. Professionalism is dead all the way across the board dealing with this location and its excruitiating sad.

I do frequent this good will often because of the size but I have learned to check any expectations at the door- the employees are horrible- very rude so make sure to stay clear of their path. I have also noticed they are becoming ridiculous with prices of shoes. It is good will for a reason. People are donating to those less fortunate- and Ive seen recently that they are charging $25-$30 for used heels (Jessica Simpson is not Gucci). So I have now stopped even going into the shoes section. I have found great finds in the clothing although you do need to dedicate time to go through everything. Have seen pee in the dressing rooms/ not a clean place by any means. Also do not try to return. I bought a set of kitchen dishes once - got home and realized they did not match with my set. Brought my receipt back with merchandise and woman accused me of lying- stating that I did not buy those dishes there. Rather than fighting with a woman who accused me of lying - I DONATED then back to the store bc a liar does that right ? I wont begin to characterize the employees who work here but they would never keep a job anywhere else with these types of attitudes. Buyer beware here.

I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your company Goodwill at OBT 4/11/2017. Its awful that the company has these managers and general manager treat these employees the way they do! The general manager ken is a sad excuse of what a boss he has some serious problems . Bibi who is a manager not only speaks down to the employees but to customers honey if it is not for our donations and us shopping you would not have a job. I would personally get ride of toxic people goodwill represent GOOD! & another things shifts seemed to have changed and the managers were speaking on the sales floor of all the drama within the company very turned off. Cashiers are scared to lose there job its truly sad. The younger girl in the jewelry counted stated shes not in the mood for this B!#/$+! she cant stand goodwill she is ready to go find a new job just a disgrace. Will never come back I will shop else where.

This is a Goodwill clearance center right next to a regular Goodwill store. I went in the clearance center 1st and never made it in the store! The clothes and household blankets are piled on tables that are about waist high. Nothing is sorted by type or size or anything so you have to dig. At least you dont have to lean over to dig! The store is clean and its easy to sort through the stuff on the tables. I bought some nice things for me - designer linen shirts, a couple of new tops with tags, pajamas for my grand daughter, a really nice blanket for the couch, etc. All of the clothes and household soft items were 99 cents a pound. I also got a set of plates - they were half off of the marked price which made them $1.50 for the set. All together I spent $15 and it was all I could do to tote my bags out to the car. There were tons of jeans and school kids type clothes.

Was just at this store. I switched lines to be 4th in line. Cashier took care of customer then moved on to the next. A man buying a bike. A man got behind me. The cashier told him the lady in front of me was her last customer. Now why didnt she tell me that when I first got on line. Then line I had been on more than doubled in size. I put everything (only about $30 worth) on the counter and left. I went over to Marshalls and found a great gift for my granddaughter. I browse around every Wednesday between having lunch with my husband and picking up my granddaughter. With so many stores to pick from, I wont be back. Looking forward to spending more time in Marshalls next week.

Absolutely no organization whatsoever. Plan at least a few hours looking through racks just to find something, anything in your size. Jeans, for example, are generally the same color and cut, yet even those arent organized in any distinguishable fashion. Theyre just thrown all together on 3 massive racks. By the time I found a pair that might fit, I was disgusted at the lack of care and the price was too high for the amount of time I put in just to find the damn thing. I will never shop here again, unless they can get everything organized.
