Got my first tattoo from this shop. Came in nervous (I have a tremendous fear of needles but an even greater love of art, with my skin as the canvas). Came in with a VERY general idea. I knew what I wanted but only had a couple of letter in the font I adored. Dave made everything come together, he formed the rest of the word off those 2 letters and it looked as if he had created the font himself. It was more than perfect. He understood my need of discretion and recommend a couple spots since the spot I chose was not large enough to show the detail of the font. Overall, I laughed at him, he laughed at me, the shop laughed at us and it was a great first experience. Quick and Beautiful, what more could a girl ask for her very first tattoo? Oh! And he was very gentle even though the tattoo went down my spine :)

Being knowing Sal since Bloodshot Tattoo. Then its was Voodoo Tattoo. So 2002 Ive been getting work done by Sal only! I have over 100 hours of tattooing and still need to go back and visit. I can say is skin art is FOREVER!!! Make sure you find a Clean, friendly, professional shop like El Clasico Tattoo! Sal is more than just a tattooist, hes my friend and I love him like a brother! His skills with a tattoo gun is second to none!

Went in as a walk in and Sean was great and said if I came back in a few hours they could squeeze me in. Craig gave me my tattoo and it turned out amazing! The shop is super clean, great atmosphere, and everyone there is just super friendly and makes you feel welcome. Ill definitely be coming back here for my future tattoos!

I got a tattoo here for charity during a scavenger hunt in echo park. It was my first tattoo, but it definitely wont be my last. The staff was friendly and professional throughout the process and the tattoo turned out great.

great shop, really nice staff and artists. you wont feel like an outsider if your a newbie. everyone is really laid back and patient. ive always brought in my ideas to Sal and he always blows my mind with his sketches.

Dope spot clean at fresh A/C ...Receptionist has to learn to be professional towards the people done with the tattoo tho , what type of response is "its ok" when asked my tat looks dope huh
