I have a nice set of Mikli frames (rimless on the bottom) that were only a couple of years old and wanted to have my new prescription put into them. I felt more comfortable with this store over the others in the area since they sell glasses in this price range, assuming they would have a higher level of standards. When I first got my glasses, I quickly realized that the lens guy cut an abnormally deep groove in the lenses - giving me a nice white border around what should be pretty nondescript glasses. I took them back and the people were nice enough and offered to have them replaced. I just picked them up after the replacement and its pretty much the exact same thing - he obviously tried to buff some of the border out, so the white is not "quite" as bright. However, the top of the lenses obviously were not cut correctly and dont sit in the frame well (I can see gaps in the corners). The girl at the counter knew that there was not much of a difference and offered to send them off to a lab to have them redone for a third time (effectively telling me that they cant do it right) - and rather than risk something worse again - I told her not to worry about it and left. Billing themselves as a boutique eyeglasses store - I cannot believe that they would let a shotty product like this out of their doors. I will not return and will suggest against it for any of my friends and family. Now Im left with a set of $400 frames with lenses that look like they were made at Wal-Mart (no offense intended, they might have done a better job!). My only consolation is that its near the end of the year, so I can get insurance to cover another set of lenses in a month. To be fair though: - The optometrist was very nice and thorough, and I feel like my prescription is spot on - The staff is friendly - They have a good selection of glasses

I have been going there for a while and I have to say they are great there. The staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Thompson is GREAT. Yes, the prices are going to be higher on many of their frames but they sell quality products. I can run to Wal-Mart for some cheap disposable glasses if needed, but I have every pair of frames I have purchased from them and they are all still in great shape and ready to take lenses. If you fall into the "buy once cry once" or "you get what you pay for" crowd then you will like their selection. Every member of the staff has been great to work with and they have always made me feel like I am the most important patient they have. Ive never felt rushed nor have I felt pushed through the process. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else in Winston for my eye care needs.

I have been a repeat customer at C-Distinctive and I have always been more than satisfied. They most definitely have the best selection of frames in town and go above and beyond to help you select the perfect pair of frames. Because they have designer frames, they can be expensive. But you get what you pay for! And, when you consider how often you wear your glasses through the course of the year, its a worthy investment. And whats awesome about C-Distinctive is they have a variety of price points, so theres something for everyone. Just be up front about your price range and they will be happy to let you know which brands to look for. Check out their ads in Latitude Magazine for some great specials too. And definitely see their optometrist. Shes the best Ive ever been to.

Every time I come in this store to get my glasses adjusted (which is often) I am greeted by warm smiles and helpful attitudes. I purchased glasses from a sister company a year ago that recently got destroyed. Not only did C Eyewear honor my warranty, but because the old frames were discontinued they helped me pick out a great new pair! Also, when I say they helped me, I mean literally the first glasses the girl picked up were the perfect pair. My favorite part about this store is that almost every time I see a really interesting, great-looking pair of glasses in Winston, they have come from C. I make it a point to always recommend this store. You guys are great!

Ive had the best experiences with my eye exams and the most fun trying on glasses. They have state of the art equipment and its by far the best place in NC to get a check-up and plus; they have the best and latest glasses to choose from. They are on top of it all and really have it together. The whole team at C.Distintive Eyewear have always been very helpful, friendly and funny too. Their name says it all. They are distinctive for sure and stand out from all of the rest. They are simply the best. I highly recommend the whole experience. Go get a check up and pick out some new cool glasses! Its fun and I promise youll love the experience.

I absolutely love C. Eyewear! I bought a pair of LaFont glasses that are amazing! I get so many compliments and people want to know where i got my glasses. The staff is so knowledgable and know exactly what frame is just right for you. They picked out my pair and i instantly fell in love with them. It is extremely hard to find cool glasses. period. Everywhere has the standard generic frames that are just boring. I live about 2.5 hrs from Winston Salem but its worth my drive when im looking for unique, stylish, and ultra cool frames! The ONLY place ill go! It ROCKS!

C has a terrific selection of frames---the best Ive ever seen. They also have a talented staff who actually helps you pick the most flattering style. Their finished glasses are excellent and they stand behind their work happily. I almost never write reviews, but these people really deserve an enthusiastic report for going above and beyond the average eyeglass experience. They are not inexpensive but the glasses are so satisfactory that I wear them much longer than I would a less flattering style. Maybe thats where the economy factor comes into play.

I had my first visit at C. Distinctive Eyewear this week. The front desk staff was very helpful making and rescheduling my appointments, text message reminders were a BIG help! Cameron was knowledgeable and kind when doing my initial exam. Dr. Thompson was sweet and explained all of my tests to me. I didnt have to have my eyes dilated, which I hate, and measuring eye pressure didnt involve getting the puff of air in my eye. They worked with me on finding the right pair of stylish glasses which were affordable! I recommend everyone come here!
