My parents financed a 2002 Chevy Silverado SS truck and the finance director changed price from 19,999 to 20,999 truck was smashed in the rear 2 days later returning to the lot to get inspection which it didnt pass because smoked taillights and they gave me 5$ in gas ,I had to offer them 100$ to get my supposed to free 50 inch TV ,truck had to have frame cut in half only to find out it had previous frame damage undisclosed in the sale and I found a marijuana pipe Inside console I could have been charged with had I not found it , worst car buying experience I and family ever went through Benny claimed he sold truck for a friend but every paper mom and dad signed had Bennys name on it then they over inflated payments because I put 4,000 down and truck was approved for bigger loan than needed to put more money in Benny Boyds pocket ,needless to say the finance director Jason Womack and Bennys business practices are terrible they changed price of truck because I originally was going to put 5,000 down when I told them itd be 4,000 they raised price needless to say truck was in and out of body shop because it was first truck cut in half as paceline put it and forgot to put a cross beam in so truck was painted on one side and sold for payoff , I paid 9,000 to drive the truck one year and they have the nerve to call me to buy a new car still I told sales man what happened and theyd never see another dime from Hopkins or Ellis family especially since father has past away since but bad business practices, lies , deception, crooked business practices , sure some people may have got a good deal but what happened to me was terrible I should have called Benny myself see if he would have straightened it out but it was his lot his employees because Bennys got plenty of money there was no need to number change a working mans truck deal especially that rare of a truck and 5$ gas money in my mind he can never make it right especially with father gone now, took my great grandmothers 1976 mercury and had it rebuilt this time put money In a honest mans hands, terrible business practices never to be forgotten or forgiven ,and no more money from me or my family mom bought a Honda Accord cash thanks again benny Everytime I hear your commercial makes me want to hurl Benny Boyd yall thats not how we operate In Texas Elliss come from San Saba we been in Texas alot longer than the Boyds and a pot pipe in my truck I think you need to run a drug dog through any and all used cars trucks you sale I could a got wrongfully charged I had to fish it out with a wire hanger and duct tape after disassembly of center console and Im a father of 3 thats not cool and not forgotten , the Ellis and Hopkins family you got 20,999 from us plus TTL thats my personal experience

I dropped my truck off last week Thurs eve after you closed. The service lane had some steel beam construction going so I did not want to walk over to the mailbox to get an after-hours envelope. I went into the dealership on the service side and everyone had already left for the day. I happened to see a service tech coming out of the shop/garage and he greeted me in a very friendly manner and asked how he could help. I felt bad because he was in the middle of something else and was not a service writer, but he was very polite and kind, he took my key, said he would move the truck to where it would be safe from construction, took my name and #, etc…. then asked if I had a ride, invited me and my son in to the AC to wait for my husband to arrive. He went, found 2 chairs, dusted them off, and made sure we were completely comfortable and at ease. I am highly impressed with his customer-centric attitude and the fact that he bent so far over backwards for us even though this was clearly not his primary role. This young man will go far no matter what he chooses to do, and I hope he is well-recognized. Michael, I also appreciate your friendly and efficient dealings with me. You make it easy to do business with you. This is why we drive a long way (past other dealerships) to have our work done at Benny Boyd. Thanks again.

My Dodge was sent there for computer alignment and reprogramming after it got done with the body repairs after my accident. Besides piddling around and taking their dear sweet time - and blowing me off when I called to check on it - they made a programming error (the transmission computer spits back errors when they drive it) and Im still stuck without a car while they fix it. I havent had a vehicle for six weeks and now I cant get a new job because I dont have reliable transportation. I would have had my car back by now if the service department hadnt shifted technicians around initially, and it wouldnt have been a big deal if they had been a little nicer to me and a little less flippant over the phone. Im sure Im just frustrated, but that attitude BOTH times Ive called has just floored me. I live over an hour away, and need to know updates on my car ASAP so I can pick it up at a moments notice. Im just disappointed with the attitude Ive been met with.

I must say that my experience with Benny Boyd was a great one. I call and made my appointment with Mike McInnis and before I arrive he had a vehicle ready for to look at; and even though it wasnt what I was looking for he took me inside and found what I wanted... Mike was very professional in every way. He even looked over the numbers and deal I was getting from Dodge Country here in Killeen and that when I found out I was about to pay 3,000 over the sticker price. Mike got me the deal I wanted and the Durango I wanted as well. Than I met Shawn very professional as well. Say with me and made sure that I was within my price range and broke down the warranty plan for me.. As long as Im here in central Texas I will never go back to Dodge Country to buy there overly price cars. I will be taking my business to Benny Boyd where prices are right and the deal are even better.

My family and I bought a 2008 Chrysler town and country from the Copperas Cove location, I started noticing that it shifted ruff and would stall when we stopped. We went in for an oil change and I asked to have them look at it. The Benny Boyd in Lampasas told me that the torque converter was bad but the transmission oil was fine. The van broke down about 12 hours from home and after about a week with AAMCO I found out that the oil was bad, there was shavings, dirt, and water in the transmission. The whole transmission had to be rebuilt but the torque all though dirty it worked fine. My wife just called me and told me that BB of Lampasas told her that the brakes are bad and the rear rotors are bad, not possible because I look over my vehicles once a week to ensure their safe for my family and we won’t get pulled over for some stupid light.
