Took my maltipoo in for a full groom. I get a voice-mail 15 mins after dropping him off saying, "when I grabbed your dogs penis there was a bump on there that busted open (aaaahhhh...you had to grabbed him pretty hard for a bump to just bust open). So I took him to Banfield Vet who said it was skin cancer. They said this breed is prone to skin cancer and that I can continue to groom him." Seriously?!?!?!?! 1. Again this was left on the voice-mail vs waiting until I called back. So immediately Im thinking death sentence and feel horrible. 2. You dont look at a bump and say skin cancer without running tests to determine such a diagnosis. 3. This was clearly your cover up, because you cut my dogs penis. 4. IF you truly are an animal lover, then you know not to leave such an insensitive message for anyone. I took my dog to his own vet who confirmed that it was not skin cancer and that the bump had a indentation in the middle of it that looks as if a razor had nicked it. This was the second time we went to PetSmart Loganville grooming. The first time they shaved his ears and cut both ears at the tip. It took 4 weeks to heal completely! But I tried to give them another chance as everyone makes mistakes. NO more chances on my dog. By the way, the groomer was Lynn both times. I cant speak to the work of the others.

Per their ad, they specialize in cats..yeah, right. Then why only hire one cat groomer? Apparently a cat groomer has to have special training... I have a cat with black nails, I have 3 other cats with clear nails that I can trim, but I am nervous about the black nails, so I was taking her to the petsmart in Stone Mountain, until they decided only one person can do her nails (even though I had been going there several years and had several different people trim her nails..). I would have to call and make an appointment, ok, but.. they could not tell me when she would be on duty. No problem, new petsmart opened in Loganville, I will just go there instead. Called today and was told sorry, no one available in grooming for cats because the one and only person quit. I asked why do you only have one person, no clue. I told her I was very disappointed... like she could care less. So, I guess I will try Petco, it is 10 miles further away, in a very congested part of town, but if they are willing to trim her nails and are friendly, then they will get my business - which includes purchasing cat food, litter, grass, toys, treats, etc. for 4 indoor cats and 2 strays. May not be a big loss to petsmart, but it will make me (and the cats) happy to spend at Petco!

Ive taken my puppy four times to get her nails grinded. The first two times I got the same girl and experience was great I knew then took my dog to get a puppy bath. The girl said she could hardly give her a bath, couldnt look at her nails, and she was behaving really bad. This is unlike my dog, I bathe her all the time and the first two times Ive taken her to get her nails done she sat there very nicely. I let it go, I didnt want to assume the worst that the girl hurt my dog and thats why she was lashing out. But I know how that is exactly what happened. I took her to get her nails grinded once more, the same girl who always does a good job, and she couldnt get my dog to sit still and she looked so scared. Its very upsetting that I now have a traumatized puppy thanks to one person. Save yourself the hassle and dont go here for grooming unless you want to risk it. The lady even told me she didnt have a problem doing her nails the last time. Anytime you suggest your dog was hurt at the grooming facility everyone just ignores you and doesnt answer. Very irritating. I will not be back.

Dont complain about Petsmart not grooming cats. Its for THEIR safety. I went to get interviewed for grooming, and they clearly told me that they cant groom cats because one girl had to go to the hospital because her hand swelled up like a balloon! so please dont complain until you know the situation. They do care about animals. They turned down the cats in the parking lot because thats ILLEGAL to do. You have to get permission to do anything like that or else its considered loitering. They are required to do their jobs. They make sure the people they hire are respectful and right minded to be around animals. When i was shopping for my pets, the team associate kept asking me if i needed help, and when we did he came to us. I love this petsmart.

Terrible customer service and lazy employees. Grooming salon associates are very hateful and seem lazy and/or afraid of large breed dogs. If they are, they need to get out of the profession they are currently in. They lie and are very offensive. I have never been treated with such disrespect in any store before. I have been going here for several years, and today will be the last day that I ever step into this store again. The manager didnt seem to care that there was any kind of issue, and continued on her way without correcting the situation. This is one of the many reasons that this store will fail.

Very UNFRIENDLY TO PETS! After rescuing 4 kittens and only being able to find homes for two I went to this Petsmart to sit quietly at the edge of the storefront with the kittens in an attempt to find them a home. After 10 minutes two employees came out and informed me that only their adoption partners could attempt to find homes for animals. Then they informed me that not only could I not sit near their store front, but I also could not be nearby or anywhere in the public parking lot. They do not care about animal rescue, take your money to a pet store that actually likes pets.

went in to make an appointment to have my cat groomed, turns out they dont groom cats here anymore because there were too many injuries to the employees from cats, which sucks. But the groomers were very nice to me and even recommended somewhere else for me to go! From what I saw they were VERY good with all of the dogs they had there and the dogs seemed happy too.

Store appears clean. Staff help depends on the day, sometimes there is a lot of help and friendly faces, and other days you cant find help to save your life. They have a monthly plan for your pet care there, which we are going to try! Heres to hoping for the Best!

I have a new puppy and we take him here, the ladies at banfield are always curtious and helpful, but the petsmart employees act like they could care less if they help you! However I guess the good thing is that we dont deal much with them!
