Learn more First, I am not one that writes reviews, but as I am getting older, I have come to realize that more is needed than a simple thank you of someones appreciation. I am a repeat customer. this business is simply amazing, for it opened my eyes and showed me that this pawnshop is not a seedy, decrepit, poorly, scary run of the mill of a business as we have come to know over the years as how society shows how they are on various TV shows, ole movies etc. I have been going to this store since 1991, as well as my friends and children that are now grown and taking their own children with them as well. I am not afraid to walk into the business or walk out with my many purchases. Today the store is run by I believe the youngest son and a few of very nice young respectful, well mannered men. Besides the great items and low prices, the way i am treated with so much respect allows me the many opportunities to keep going back. It all started with the purchase of unique gorgeous designer bracelet, to various televisions, they just keep getting better. All my laptops come from there. I must say that the item you purchase does not look old or worn, yes we get what we pay for, and i love nice things. The items they take in to sell are in the greatest condition, for they have a reputation to uphold, and they are warranted..You cannot beat the prices. My best gift I purchased, and I have shopped around was a Rolex, a womans presidential. Yes gorgeous. I have purchased a beautiful diamond, a 2 carat, and I was informed that i could trade in my other one that I have been wearing for years. I got an education as far as how to buy and sell diamonds, what to look for, the 3 Cs, color, cut and clarity. If I see something I like elsewherer, Nick the owner will look out for me and ask around to his diamond dealers in the jewelers building. I cannot say enough, go see Nick the owner, then there is Corey and Barry and Mario, as well as others that fill in at various times. Omg, i totally forgot, in 1992, when no one gawked at you for wearing a Mink coat, Nicks father called me and asked if I would be interested. A full length Mink coat, almost brand new, couldnt even tell it was worn a few times, so of course I mentioned that i am/was very much interested and 10 minutes later, I received my gorgeous Mink coat. One more thing before I go. Some people when they hear the word Pawnshop, they immediately think old, used, hot, stolen merchandise and automatically drug addicts, not true at all. Maybe 1% of the items may be stolen, but every single thing they purchase or loan out, a copy of that report goes to the Police Station, s yes, it is safe. Add photos

To sum it up in one word: OUTSTANDING!!!! Although I cant say that I have extensive knowledge of the customer experience in numerous other Pawn Shops, I can say that out of all the Pawn Shops I have shopped in - this one is by far the most friendly, helpful, and accomodating establishment that I have ever had the pleasure to shop in! All of the employees here have always gone above and beyond my expectations, offering top notch customer service and a genuine desire to make sure every client is completely and totally satisfied! Whether your there to sell or buy, you can be sure that you will be getting top dollar for your Pawn and paying the lowest price for your purchase. In particular, I would like to personally thank Mario for his professionalism, courteousness, and his no pressure sales style during my most recent visit to the shop. I came in with the intent of buying myself a new Laptop, but after dealing with Mario, I got such a good deal that I also ended up buying a beautiful Tiffany Bracelet for my girlfriend because the price was just too good to pass up! And then a few days later, when I was having difficulties with installing some software, Mario was more than happy to take the laptop back to have his Computer Tech guy work on it at no additional charge! Within 24 hours he had it back to me, fully functioning, and running better than I could have ever possibly imagined! Bottom Line: tell your friends, tell your family, tell everyone - Pawtucket Pawnbrokers is the BEST place to buy, sell, or pawn Anything! Thanks again Mario, and Im sure youll see me again soon!!!

Just picked up my loan today and I wanted to let other people know how happy I was with my transaction here. Im sure they dont do this all the time but I was out of the country for 5 months and they didnt sell my ring on me. By law they have to hold it for 4 months and my experience with other shops was that they sell your item the next day after your 4th month is up. I called them and told them my dilemma and they were nice enough to hold it that extra month while I was away. In return they will have my business in the future (hopefully to buy items not pawn them) and I figured I would share my thoughts in this review. Would recommend them to anybody.

Easily the best pawn shop/gold buyers I have been to in New England. Was nervous when I walked in, but everything was much easier and quicker than I thought and left the store satisfied. The guys there are friendly, down to earth and most importantly, they valued my my items (TV & laptop) higher than other pawnbrokers I have been to in the region. I suggested Pawtucket Pawn to a relative, and she was able to sell her gold jewelery for a great chunk of cash. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to pawn or sell anything.

Good businesses start with good people. Pawtucket Pawnbrokers deserves the most credit for their customer service. You can go to any pawnshop and get treated like trash or a simple beggar, but the new ownership there seems hell bent on changing that stereotype. Walk in there and get a no hassle loan, or buy some electronics on the cheap cheap. As a business owner I like to give credit where it is due, Ive heard nothing but good things from people coming out of Pawtucket Pawn. A+ Keep it up guys.

Two thumbs up to the gentleman at Pawtucket Pawnbrokers - I have worked with them on numerous occasions for all types of items. Most recently, I purchased a computer for work. Not only were they able to give me a screaming deal on a like-new laptop, but they also knew enough about their products to help me choose which one was best for me. Ive done the run around with the cookie cutter pawn shops and now I dont ever have to do it again. Thanks Paw-Paw!

I cant say enough good things about this pawn shop. Ive been to many different pawnshops in the area and PAWTUCKET PAWN IS BY FAR THE BEST. Just all around great guys that work there. They treat their good customers like family and really care. Whether I was behind on some bills and needed a short term loan... or needed a check cashed.. or just looking for a new laptop or TV... they always take care of me.
