Just a heads up that everyone here speaks Spanish and very little English. Calling to ask their hours was a crazy experience. There were weird phone problems so I could only get through one out of every four or five times, the person who answered the phone could not understand my simple English question ("When are you open?"), then she hung up on me, and then I was finally passed to someone who could answer my question when I called back. Had I known, I could have just asked the question in Spanish! But I never got the chance and wasnt expecting the confusion over a simple question. However, I eventually got the answer and did visit Fannin Flower & Garden Center (not to be confused with Fannin Flowers directly across the street). They do have a good selection of annuals (some of which I hadnt seen elsewhere in Houston) and the prices are in line with the rest of the Inner Loop (1.50 for a pint pot). The hanging plants are a pretty good deal ($14-$18) compared to other garden stores in town. So its worth a visit (their hours of 8a-8p, seven days a week, are very convenient), just brush up on your Spanish before going! :)

I patronize the Bonney Lake location. It is a great shop and the folks there are very nice and helpful. They have a great selection of juices and hardware. I gave them a 4 star rating only because they are a bit on the pricey side for comparable items at other shop or online.

I called after 1:00 pm to get flowers delivered to my co-worker whom father past away. Fannin Flower delivered it before 3:30 pm. While another florist told me it was too late and I need to call back tomorrow. The arrangement was so….. Beautiful!

Great selection of prearranged and customized bouquets. They were very helpful and didnt mind doing some minor modifications on a prearranged bouquet to accommodate my requests. Prices were better than most too.
