While the diamonds are nice, the service from the store owner is, to put it mildly, lacking. I dont think Ive ever experienced such awful salesmanship. Everything from poo-pooing ideas for rings, charging for cleanings in spite of purchases (and the fact that EVERY jeweler Ive ever been to offers a cleaning for free), overcharging for repairs, and even laughing at some folks desires to upgrade diamonds. Why bother doing business with a store owner whos even rude to his customers? You should go to Bellstar, Nasr of Plymouth, or Barmakian in Boston. Itll save you money, hassle, and youll get the best customer service.

The people at South Shore Diamond are so easy to work with when buying jewelry. I have made several relatively small purchases there, and they treat me with the same attention and care as customers buying much larger items. I have custom ordered items as well, and have always been happy with the end product. In addition, I have friends who have sold Gold jewelry there and gotten far more from them than any other stores were offering.

There TV ad states they have the BEST prices and cash for your gold. I went in to sell some gold and of the 4 places I visited they were the lowest offer by far. I ended up selling my gold for 30% more than they offered. Shop around your gold before you listen to there TV ad and sell to them.
