Terrible customer service. Was told there was someone else looking at the car later so we couldnt make the deal I wanted because they wanted to see what the next people would offer. I felt like I was not important because they had another appointment later. The sales rep, Tim, was very hesitant when I asked if I could have my buddy, who is a service tech at the dealership, put the car on a lift and look at it for me. After he looked at it Tim was very stubborn and rude to myself and mother. When my mother said the car was over priced he asked, "well where is your expertise on this car coming from? Ive been working here for 30 years so I must be a rookie at this." My mother and I both found that very rude of him. I was fully ready to buy the car at a slightly lower price than their counter offer until that point. He then left and his sales manager came out and dropped the price down for me to a lower one but was not the price I asked, so I said no and started walking out but he just kept talking. Kevin was his name. He said the appointment later was not even confirmed. He called me two days later asking if i had thought about the car anymore and i said if you cant give it to me at my offer then dont call me again. He continued to talk about how Im never going to find a car like this for the price they are asking and how its an amazing price. I hung up the phone after that. I know someone who had worked at this dealership in the sales department and they are trained to tell the customer that they have another appointment for the same car later to try to get the customer to buy the car at a higher price. They are not customer oriented at all. I will not be buying a car nor going back to that dealership again. I will not recommend it to anyone either. I advise anyone who sees a car they like there not to give them your service.

Burien Toyota is trying to bury their TRUE and REAL reviews by writing fake reviews every time a nasty one appears. Dont be fooled people! Have all your ducks in a row, know what YOU WANT to get before hand, and know what YOU WANT to pay for that particular vehicle. If Burien Toyota has that larger than life a$$ hole attitude that they almost always have, then SCREW THEM! Go with someone else that WILL work with you. If enough people start doing this, they WILL have to change. Dont be fooled by phony reviews. Real reviews should be stamped by real user names and NOT just "signed" at the end with a phony first name and last name initial. Im not saying they are hacking google and figuring out a way to avoid user name stamps, because you can hide it... My question however is, why? Maybe because its the same person over and over? Im not 100% certain on this. However, the writing and consistency of their structures is way too similar. Look for yourself! It looks like the same person just sat down and wrote them. What a coincidence that they appear after a long detailed negative review is written by a REAL person and a REAL former customer. I highly doubt these are in store written customer testimonies. They are just TOO similar in writing to be unique individuals. Unless all "good" customers are androids programmed to shop at Burien Toyota and write good reviews. The truth must be told. Look beyond the cheerleader reviews and read the real ones. There are good reviews written by real people out there, but the negatives out number them. Do you research people. They get away with their crap because people dont speak up! Its not like Burien is the only place in the Greater Seattle Area to buy a Toyota. Let them know this and let them figure out a way to serve customers better!

I found a couple cars online that I was interested in looking at so my SO and I made an appointment with sales associate; Maria. We made the appointment for Memorial day weekend hoping to get a good deal on the right car I wanted... Maria was fantastic! Super friendly and not an aggressive sales ass. like most we had delt with thus far. Nor was she invasive while my SO and I discussed the cars of interest, privately. She let me test drive both vehicles without her (as I requested) without any issues or fuss. She also didnt shadow us on the lot while we also looked at other vehicles. I had been looking for a new vehicle for myself for a few weeks at this point and nothing had caught my eye until we were on their lot. So having a sales ass. not hound me or have me test drive every vehicle I showed interest in was a nice break. Maria made the experience at the dealership amazing!!! Maria was 5 out 5 stars Making a deal with Marias manager on the other hand was not as pleasant... I believe his name was Brett or Beau Im not sure which tbh, but he was not willing to negotiate at all with the price of the vehicle. We offered a price on the low end of KBB just to get the ball rolling with negotiations and his attitude changed after he had to "check his computer". His whole demeanor from that point on was with snark and stand-offish. After negotiating for only about 30 minutes he was only willing to negotiate $500 off the original asking price which was still within the higher end of KBB WITH an accident on its record, we declined the offer and he immediately ended things there. So we said "good day" and left the dealership. Needless to say I wont be doing business with him ever again. 0 out 5 stars

We had a great car buying experience with Burien Toyota. Many thanks to Kevin Kuran and Tim Holmquist for all their help. Wed gladly recommend them to our friends, colleagues, and family. We knew what vehicle we wanted and were ready to buy when we visited Burien. They didnt have the exact vehicle we wanted on the lot and needed get it in from another dealer. We agreed on a price quickly and left a deposit. The whole thing took about 45 mins. The next day, the vehicle was ready for us to pick up. There was more paperwork to do this time. But we were in and out with our new vehicle in maybe an hour and a half. We experienced none of the car salesman tricks that sometime plague the industry. No high pressure sales tactics. No misinformation. No leaving us to wait while the salesperson talks to his manager. No long drawn out negotiations to get to the right price. No changing the deal afterwards. No pressuring us to buy extras and add-ons we didnt want like fabric protectant or extended warranties. Throughout the entire process, everyone at Burien was courteous, helpful, knowledgable, responsive, respectful, and straightforward to deal with.

Bait and Switch Advice: Before you go to the dealer, print out the stock number, VIN number. I had a bad experience ! I saw a van posted on their web site. Called and confirmed that it was there. Went to buy it the same day (for the internet sale price), first they told me that they didnt have the car etc. Next I was told it was sold. Later I was told that the car is on a truck ( per carfax the car was from Marysville, WA, so hard to understand why would it be on a truck) in the mean time they kept trying to sell other vans to me. . I was told I will be the first one to know when the car comes, they took my contacts but no call the next day. In the mean time the same car, is listed as a certified used car. (If they sold the car, then wouldnt the update say that it is sold instead of certified update). Called again they person wanted to sell me another car, I informed him about the one I was interested. Well per the person the car is sold. The car is still listed on their website for sale ! We have bought 2 cars in the last year (FJ Cuiser, and a Camry) from Toyota of Seattle, and have been very happy with the dealership.
