This is the second time that I have walked away from the Deli counter with NOTHING, because there is no one to wait on customers. I went in, and there is one person talking loudly in the back, and another who is prepping meat for the display case. The one from the back, looked at me, spoke to the other girl, then proceeded to ignore me and went to help someone who just walked up to the sandwich counter. I waited for the other girl to come help me, and still nothing. When I asked the girl now making the sandwich if anyone else was working there, she looked back and said just her and I. She started apologizing to the customer she was making the sandwich for, but not to me for ignoring me or making me wait when I was there first. This Deli department is rude, understaffed, and has no sense of customer service. They need to have more people trained and able to help that department. I will no longer even attempt to purchase food there.

The selection was great. However while checking out, the bagger "Steve" began helling at me about bags. I told him I wanted everything bagged and he continued to insist that I tell him a number. So I said 3, he asked again I said Ill take 3. He sarcastically said well what do you want in them. I stated everything? Then he rudely blurted out that will take at least 7. I was confused are we having an argument about bags? Are you upset about bags? I finally said, Ill bag them myself. And I did just that, in 3 bags. Then Steve said "congratulations". Well Happy 4th of July to you too Steve. Pavilions I have never been treated so poorly, Ill stick to the Culver city location. If I wanted to bag for myself I would have gone to Food4Less, at least there the bad attitude is expected

Saturday morning. Sailing trip. Pressed on time. Needed 10 sandwiches. Called Pavilions Deli to ask if I can order 10 sandwiches and pick up in 30 minutes. First guy who answered the phone wasnt really sure but he transferred me to the manager Diana who answered very quickly and assured me she will get it done in 30 min. I got my order together and called her back in 5 minutes. Diane picked up again. She took an order fairly quick. 20 minutes later order was ready. Viri checked me out really quick. Very pleasant experience! Thank you Diane and Viri!!!

The businesses in Marina del Rey such as this vons hire their employees exclusively from areas that are not local. It would better serve the community to hire individuals that live in the area to help support the local community. I am sure there are a lot of local people who could use jobs as opposed to hiring the cheapest labor available by importing people who dont support the local community. It is time to stop shopping at these chain stores and start shopping at smaller local stores run by people that actually live here!!!

They leave the produce out way too long to get the most value for their old food, they let their shelves go bare so you are forced to buy the next available thing so they can get rid of the stuff nobody buys, and the employees speak spanish amongst themselves in front of customers with no regard to class or courtesy, just weird!!! This is an example of a society that is gradually degrading!!!

This Pavilions looks huge on the outside, but the aisles are so thin, you can barely fit 2 shopping carts to pass each other. Also, the registers are so close to the end-cap displays, that there is no space to get by if there are more than a few people in line, which there always are because they dont keep enough registers staffed throughout the day.

I have been to one in tustin California my first one actually, it set a standard. I went in this one expecting the Same quality choices and design. Two thumbs down the selection; is average I truly believed I would be able to purchase more exclusive items; that are not carried in any other stores.

Nice clean facility, but they didnt have much of a selection of Hummus and other dips (my whole purpose for my visit). They are doing the monopoly game sweepstakes which is always fun. I also was disapointed in the quality of their produce. (Bell peppers and celery were wilting and mushy).

i shop here plenty, since our local albertsons was demolished. the store is clean, and selection is great. its hard to get excited about a grocery store experience, but this place has what you probably need, and getting in and out is usually pretty easy.

Big parking lot, decent market but the Vons /pavilions chain seems to be in a decline. Pavilions was once a premium supermarket now its no better than a Ralphs with higher prices but since its here when I eat at Fatburger or Pizzarito Ill stop by.

Is this the gheto!!!??? The store only seems to hire black and mexican employees who dont even seem to speak english. The last time i checked, this is a small town of boaters who live in the marina, i dont understand, do they have boats!!!???

This is a great supermarket unfortunately they dont take Apple Pay parking is a little cumbersome and scares but coming in and out its quite easy. This story is maintains very good well organized in the personnel here are quite friendly.

I tried to pick out a tomato and it was rotten, gross...i caught the black stock person smelling the eggs and then removing some of them, gross...i thought it would be safe to just get some water, but there wasnt any, weird...

Just horrible customer service, just rude employees who dont live in marina del rey who apparently hate people who live here. Creepy shopping experience like i am in the third world.

My favorite Safeway operated grocery store in the area. HUGE with GREAT SELECTION! Parking is easy, and theyre wine manager is very knowledgeable.

This is perfect as a regular grocery store. They have almost anything you might need on a normal run and its really easy to park in their lot.

Nice grocery store. Very large, clean, friendly staff, good produce. Parking lot can get a bit crazy during peak hours.
