HORRIBLE FOLLOW-UP...Actually NO FOLLOW UP. We recently moved to the Hendersonville area and were furnishing a new home we purchased after selling our existing home, "furnished". There were a couple items that the vendor website showed being sold at Davis Home Furniture. I contacted the local Asheville store and spoke with Lynn. I even provided her with the exact product numbers and she said "no problem, I will get you a quote" That was over 30 days ago and I even contacted her again within a week to see if she had an update on the quote...NOTHING. I have been in outside sales most of my career and if I managed my customer base like this, I wouldnt have a business. Apparently my business is not needed because Lynn didnt even have the common courtesy to call me back and at least state she didnt have an update or she couldnt get the product. I contacted Tysons in Waynesville, had a quote within the same day and delivered 2 weeks later. Davis Home Furniture needs to wake up because there is way too much competition in the furniture industry to treat your customer base like that. When Davis was in the old Biltmore Square Mall, we were able to find really great pieces of furniture for one heck of a deal. We went recently to look for a new couch and I was blown away at the prices.... no real discount as they are claiming. I couldnt believe it!! Needless to say, we left empty handed and shopped around because their prices are no longer competitive. So sad because they do have a lot of offer but be prepared when you go and do your research

Ordered couch and loveseat and 4 throw pillows. When they were delivered they were not the ones that we ordered but decided to just keep them. Were only 2 pillows delivered that day. Said that they would get 2 more and bring them to us but that has been 4 months ago. Called to speak with David and of course he is always busy with another customer. No call backs or nothing. Do not deal with this place. Go somewhere else where they will do what they say

I went to purchase a recliner and stopped by Davis furniture to price check what I had picked out at Badcock Furniture. Davis furniture price was $598.00 for the recliner Badcock Furniture was $399.00 this was priced for the same recliner, same factory made, same color no difference except pricing. I found out it pays to price check before a big purchase. Davis is suppose to be a discount store???

Terrible follow-up. Purchased a sleeper soda and a console table 3 months ago and it is still not "available". Have spoken to the salesman a number of times by phone (we live in on the West Coast and were purchasing furniture for a summer cabin in North Csrolina), and all we got were promises to check the status and that we wold be called back. Never happened. Very dissppointing.

We bought a leather love seat recliner, and also bought the extra insurance. The insurance was supposed to cover "anything" that happens to the leather, even if the dog tore it. Well that was not true.. The leather started peeling after a short time, so I called Davis Furniture and I was told that it was normal wear and tear. I am very disappointed..

You may find some good buys, but check around before you commit to a purchase. Also, this business does not allow refunds; just store credit. Beware of needing service. When you call on them, you will not be happy with their efforts at all. I fixed my recliner on my own.

We purchased two recliners yesterday from the Asheville Outlet location and just wanted to thank Martha ( I hope that is her name) for a super experience. She was extremely helpful and a joy to work with. Retail stores need more associates like her!

Good prices and lots to look at for you home furnishings. Got a deal on a new midcentury modern chair; however the chair is the only cool piece of furniture I have seen there. It was listed at $350 and I got it for $200 final price.

Stay away worst of the worst will not even replace a chair that broke after two weeks, will not refund, replace or call you about anything they will take you money and hide.

Wide selection. Pricing varies and in some cases not well marked. Employees helpful, but scarce. Overall, one of the better furniture shopping experiences in Asheville.

Huge selection of furniture spread out as far as the eye can see. Its a little pricey though, but you can find deals.
