I got my furniture here because I loved it. I thought the service was great and the employees were friendly and informative. And they had the best guarantee policy of any of the other local furniture places. I was told my furniture would be delivered in about 3 to 4 weeks. That was on May 26. My furniture was not delivered until 5 weeks after my purchase date. I was given a timeframe for delivery and the delivery guys were nearly 3 hours late. The store had called to say they were running 2 hours behind schedule but after 2 hours past the latter end of the time frame they still hadnt arrived. We had plans to go out for the long weekend and were stuck waiting for them to arrive. They rushed in and quickly put the furniture together, didnt test anything out or show us anything before they took off. We didnt get to test things out right away either because it was the long weekend and we were going to be gone. A couple days later we discovered the recliner didnt work. I called I believe on July 3 to report it and get someone out to take a look. They werent able to get a repair tech out here until July 13! That guy was late too - even though he doesnt call to give you your timeframe until that morning. He finally arrived to say that the chair was broken and that the whole base would need to be replaced. He said it would take another 3-4 weeks to get the parts in and then he would come and fix it. Today, 8/3 I get a call to schedule the repair... but not until 8/24! When I purchased this furniture I thought I would have working furniture by the middle of June - around the 16th based on what they told me. And now were talking 2.5 months later! And no compensation for it either. I really really want to like this company, but I am so discouraged and put off by this experience. This is the kind of service I expect from big box stores, not family owned businesses.

Purchased a bedroom set from them 11/11/2015 today is 12/14/2015 and my bed frame still not attached to the head boad, they came out twice already but they have the wrong plates and bolts they keep saying that somebody will call me with a new date to get it fix but they never did I had to call and I just get the run around, asked for the owners number but the manager said no, very rude and told me that I need to wait, I told her that I waited long enough over a month and my bed still not fix and she said well I dont know what to tell you. I paid almost 4000 for this bethroom set, to me thats a lot of money but I guess to them its not enough to take care of their customers and just like the manager said theres nothing I can do, I guess I will have to keep this broken bed until I can afford a new one.

I purchased my couch and stools on 12/26/16 they told me a week to 2 weeks to receive my order no phone call no communication 5 weeks later they bring my couch out with no bar stools I asked the Manger he said that their was a delay on the warehouse and that they were closed for 2 weeks because of the hoildays but the sales lady should have told me that because i would have went somewhere else. They said my bar stools would be here in a couple of days still no phone call so I called them up and finally a week past now I get them after all that Hassel.

Ekornes needs to investigate these peoples business practices. I wanted to buy an Ekornes stressless sofa and chair. But they have the furniture so over priced they try to convince you to buy something else, BOGUS or copy Ekornes recliners . I know Ekornes furniture is exspensive. But not 3 times what tarpon furniture is asking. Again Ekornes should reconsider having tarpon furniture sell your product. They are giving Ekornes a bad name.

I have bought furniture at Tarpon Furniture for 25 years. I love everything I have purchased and have had 0 problems with any of the pieces. I have custom couches, chairs and ottomans in both leather and beautiful fabrics, and continue to get compliments on the beautiful furnishings. If there was a way to give no stars I would...Service SUCKS!!! took 2 months to get our couch(that should have been a warning) another month to get someone to look at it right after it was delivered for a defect. Now a month since they came and still no part..RUN do not but here!!!!!

Ive gotten several pieces from Tarpon. They are very accommodating, and although Ive had to wait, I have not had any problems. I will always go to Tarpon Furniture because I know they stand by their products, and they have quality furniture. You truly get what you pay for.
