I wouldnt even give them the satisfaction of one star. JR and Robbie at the service department was great but the owner Ed on the other hand shouldnt be running a business or even own a business. I race dirt bikes (arena-cross) on my way to Las Vegas for the championship round when my Transmission on my RV went out and was towed to Mertz Ford because I was told they are capable of handling the job. After spending 4k on a Jasper transmission and fixing other stuff that was wrong, I made it to Denver Colorado when the new transmission went out (3rd and 4th gear). I was able to make it to a place called Cliffs Transmission where they diagnosed the problem which caused the malfunction of the new transmission to burn up. I have a 1994 Fleet-wood South-wind which didnt have a H block originally installed with it, thats what they called it at Cliffs Transmission (which allows the flow of the transmission to be able to pass through multiple lines.) Well that was installed wrong, so basically the transmission was starved not allowed to cool by passing through the transmission cooler and cooler that is on the radiator. Ive called multiple times to get a hold of Ed and he stated he was speaking with Jasper and Cliffs but in reality I did my due diligence and check to see if he had call and the only time Ed called and spoke with Jasper and Cliffs is the day I called and got little upset with him, I have called him multiple times since and still havent gotten the issue resolved, I told him I wanted to be reimbursed for their mistake (costing me to pay hotel fees, car rental, missing work etc basically the damages that caused me to pay all the expensive for their mistake and when I was speaking with him one time as well he told me if I was you I would just go home but how is one suppose to go home from the negligence of your tech. Funny thing is I was passing through this Sat heading back home, called to speak with Ed so he can make it right but once again didnt receive a call back. I will be filing a report with the BBB asap! Believe me I know all about customer service I am a professional when it comes to customer service. I work for US Internet look up their Google reviews and look at our comments! We take customer satisfaction seriously!
Do NOT go to their service department. My past two experiences have been horrible. The one worker there, hes a bigger guy, usually work the service department desk, is a complete jerk. I once took my 2011 f150 in for service to have them look at my alternator that was going out, and since the alternator is on the bottom of the motor he had to lay on the ground to get under the truck to inspect it. In the process he cursed to himself, "these f-ing fords". If you hate your job, then quit... I wont ever trust them there again. Thats not the type of customer service I expect from Ford.
Great Experience thanks to the Staff at Mertz. They gave me a warranty on my car even though I wasnt expecting it. After purchasing my used truck I immediately started to have problems with it. Mertz did everything in their power to get me back on the road. Thanks to Mertz I have a new Transmission, power widow switch and Im currently waiting on tire pressure senors on Mertz Fords dime. The team at Mertz will look out for the customers best interest and bend over backwards in order to ensure continued business. Thanks Mertz
I have been buying Ford vehicles from Mertz Ford since 1994. It is a family owned dealership and they treat their customers like one of the family. Of all the dealerships I have done business with over the last fifty years, none of them compared to the bottom line on price or customer treatment after the sale. I have referred several friends to Mertz and they all come back saying the same thing. If you are in the market for a Ford vehicle, I highly recommend you go to Mertz Ford.
We just bought a ford escape a couple weeks ago from Josh and are super happy with our new ride! Josh was very helpful and did not try and push us into something we could not afford. We were out in two hours which is extremely fast compared to past experiences with dealers. Also the finance manager made sure paperwork done in a timely manner and we were able to get our baby girl home quickly. Will definitely be back for our next vehicle and will recommend to family and friends
I was so happy with my car buying experience! Easy, fast, and the entire staff is outstanding. Every person I encountered was helpful and courteous. I purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion from Josh Hulsey. In 2012 Darryl sold me a Flex. From test drive to driving home was less than an hour, easiest, less stressful car purchase I have ever made. In 2014 I took my youngest son to see Darryl to see if he could find a good college car, Darryl sold my son a 2013 Focus Hatch. My son has not stopped smiling since.
