Most people loathe the process of purchasing a new vehicle; from the time you initially open the door to step onto the lot to the moment you see dealerships sign in your rearview mirror. Federico just set the new standard for our car buying experience. Expecting the usual, my wife and I received the absolute best care we could have ever imagined and came away being completely (yes, completely) satisfied with every aspect of adding a new Jeep to our stable. Tony Hume got the ball rolling and guided us with his knowledge (we knew nothing about Jeeps), and was more than accomodating to help us in our decisions. He was professional, yet down-to-earth, and not once did we perceive having any pressure put on us. There were some hiccups along the way with the actual delivery of our new Jeep, but this was neither Tonys fault, and it was out of the dealerships control. Suprisingly, Tony offered his cell number, and he was always available (even on his days off) to communicate about any updates. He, along with Kerry Thompson went above and beyond regarding our situation and finally were able to secure a vehicle from another location. They did it quickly, and with no hesitation. It was as if they really cared.....Imagine that? These two guys are customer service oriented, period! I also must say David Sanders in Finance was outstanding. I did most of my correspondence about price and other incidentals with Tony via text message. Little did I know that this information was relayed to David who then prepared everything prior to our arrival. Once we gathered in Davids office, he presented us with all the completed paperwork. We were amazed. Again, this signifies a business that respects its customers, their time, and ultimately, their total buying experience. They all work together, and it was demonstrated with precision for us. Federico is the real deal. I actually exclaimed to each of these gentlemen that this was the best car buying experience Ive ever had. They will get my business again

Update: My car has been fixed at Royal gate dodge in Columbia IL. They fixed my car free of charge and were very understanding and nice. Please check out Royal Gate dodge in Columbia before you come to Federico. I am beyond disappointed. When I first bought my car (less than two years ago) I was beyond happy! Tony Hume sold me the car, he treated me fantastically and I could not have been happier. My car is a 2014 Challenger. This car has been my life for the past 1 1/2 years. I take great care of it because I love it. Within the past 4 months Ive been having some problems getting the car started. I have had an extroidinary amount of problems trying to get it fixed. I took it in and they said they couldnt fix it until it happens again. And to call roadside service if it happens again. It happened to me last night (AGAIN), so I called roadside and was informed it would be $148 to tow to the dealership. No thank you. So I called the dealership today and asked to speak with the service manager. Now, I am a manager at my job, I understand what its like. I know customers can be difficult when theyre upset, but as a manager its your job to make them happy. I was very nice at first, but the manager, Rick, was rude. He gave me the run around and had excuses for EVERYTHING. I grew up in a pawnshop, Ive heard EVERY line in the book. And he gave me all of them. He refuses to fix my car, and he does not care that my less than two year old car with less than 40,000 miles will NOT start. By the end of the phone call with Rick I was in tears. Ive had bad service but this takes the cake. So I called dodge headquarters, and they made an appointment for me at a different dealership and they guaranteed coverage. When I bought my car I told everyone I knew to come to this dealership. I swore that I would be a customer for life. Now I will scream on the rooftops to go ANYWHERE but here! Rick has ruined any chance of Federico EVER getting my business again.

I have purchased four vehicles in 4 years from this dealer. Two new vehicles and two used. I was very fond and more than happy until I bought my last vehicle less than one month ago. Its a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 49,000 miles. Turns out there is a recall on the ignition switch. Federico replaced the ignition switch and I was told there was no replacement part til February but that this "new" "defective" ignition switch would last at least 30K-50K as the original did. Well it lasted less than a day and the vehicle once again shuts off without warning. When I dropped off the vehicle for repair, I provided them a list of the numerous times this had happened until I had a chance to get the vehicle in for repairs (my fiance lives 4 hours away). Two of the times it died, it almost caused an accident. Another time she was stranded late at night without cell service on a road with VERY little traffic where she was stranded until someone (thankfully someone she knew) came along to help. This could have ended much differently. When I contacted the General Manager of the dealership, I was told that Jeep didnt offer a recall part replacement at the time and that they didnt know what else could be done. So I am supposed to keep this vehicle and drive it until something serious happens (at which point everyone will have a lawsuit on their hands) and hope that the incident isnt fatal??? VERY DISAPPOINTED at the lack of accountability. Seems Federico just wants to pass the buck and not do anything to prevent a potentially VERY serious issue. I see all the positive reviews here and I was once felt the same way. My advice is to not take the chance as Federico clearly isnt concerned about the safety of its customers.

My wife, daughter and I drove in to look at the Jeep Patriots. Shell be turning 16 in May! Our intent was to compare the patriot to other affordable cars from Chevy and Ford. CJ, the sales representative, met us immediately at the Patriots. She was VERY informational and helpful. My daughter loved her personality and I loved her honesty. She was very trustworthy. She gave us rock bottom prices on a multitude of Jeeps as we compared them. We are a very frugal A+ credit rated family and look for a bargain. CJ gave us a great deal!!!! We were also happy with the finance package, warranty, service department, etc. The offer got my daughter a brand new dream car instead of a used mini car. Instead of just looking at the Patriot, my daughter drove away with her first vehicle! :) Thats how good the deal was!!! Dave, in the financial office, went slow to explain everything to all of us. He even took the time to teach my daughter the ins and outs of buying a car. Our friendly conversations with Dave and CJ made us realize how small the world is and how we had life connections...GREAT PEOPLE!!! Dad, Mom, and Daughter traded in our KIA for a higher trade in value then we expected and higher than KBB trade-in value. We rode away with the knowledge that we would be recommending this group on-line, at work, and to anyone looking for a new/used vehicle. The Federico Team worked hard FOR US! It was a great experience...thank you CJ and Dave!!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!!! P.S. This is the 2nd vehicle weve purchased from Federico, WR. Im still driving my 2005 Dodge Ram and plan to keep it for a very long time. :):):):)
