Traveling on a Saturday morning, I noticed a squealing sound under our hood, believing it to be a bad bearing. I called the dealership before 8 a.m. and the phone was answered very politely. I made it to the dealership and spoke to someone at the service desk, I believe was Fred Stierwald, assistant service manager. He had a mechanic come out and look over the engine. The squeal had stopped and could not determine which belt or pulley was causing the previous squealing. The mechanic was extremely helpful and in a matter of minutes we were back on the road to SC with no problems. It is not often to get that fast of service and kindness on an early Saturday morning. Kudos to Rainbow Northshore Buick GMC. I was even offered hot coffee and my family was invited into a very pleasant waiting area while everything was being accessed. From the young lady answering the phone to the mechanic that reviewed what I thought was a problem, we were treated royally!

I went into Rainbow as I have done the past 20 something years and I must report. DO NOT TRUST THEIR SALES ASSOCIATES. I purchased a Pre-owned Certified Acadia 2011. In the first 4 months I had it the breaks had to be changed due to flaking, motor mounts replaced, master booster and the AIR is still not working after 6 months of ownership. Now Im being told to pay for it out of my pocket because I was told I had factory warranty only to find out they were almost up and I didnt get Extended Warranty. You would know the girl that sold me my truck is gone after the second month I tried calling her about my truck and all the problems. Not to mention you will stay in there with re-calls. So after buying 5 cars from Rainbow I have finally had it. By the way I purchased an Envoy 2004 in 2006 that the air went out of and I had to live with it until if was paid out in 2013. Run, run I say as far away from there as possible............

Rainbow has the best service department I have ever been to. I have had a lot of issues with an older car that I purchased from Rainbow several years back and they have taken very good care of me. On a few repair issues, I went to other mechanics to get prices and Rainbow beat their prices by a pretty large amount on a couple repairs. Mr. Joe is the fellow I normally speak to and he is most helpful and very kind. He is a genuine man that puts love into his work. I never missed a beat. They put me in a loaner every time they worked on my car, and nice loaners too. On one large repair, I was in a loaner for a couple weeks. It would have cost a fortune for a rental car. I am very happy dealing with these guys and I will always bring my business to Rainbow.

I purchased a used truck from Rainbow Northshore a couple months ago. Salesman did a number on me... I purchased a 1999 GMC Sierra with what I was told a flawless record. Little did I know the truck had been wreaked and repainted and they listed the truck price as a different model truck. I was told they had run a thorough inspection and was promised there was nothing wrong. Paid 3k more than I should have for a truck I was told was in perfect condition. They even called the owner to see if he could work on the price. Was told he even inspected the truck himself. I guess this is mostly my fault for taking THEIR WORD on it all. Wont be purchasing another vehicle through them again and if anyone does I hope this can prepare you....

Worst Dealership to work with! Negotiated a price (over $50,000 for the vehicle) and then when we go sign the paperwork they slip in another $500 auto guard charge. When I asked the sales manager he (ROUX) said I had to have it for insurance. I immediately called my agent and he said it was a LIE. So the manager, ROUX, lied and then told me if I didnt like it to leave! I left and then was called an hour later to say maybe we could split the difference but that they would take $500 off my trade in value. REALLY!! BEWARE! LIARS! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

I Traded in my HHR for a Chev Silverado when i Purchased it there was a sound coming from the windshield area, the door raddled, and the sunvisor clip was broken I purchased it from Bret who informed me to contact there service dept to do so so I did when we showed up for the first apt there were too busy too look at it we had to reschedule for a second apt. a week later they look at it and tell me that since its out of warranty i will have to pay to get it fixed. DO NOT TRUST these people they will tell you anything to get you to buy a vehicle.

I had the worst experience ever with Rainbow GMC. After 4 visits over 3 years for a "clunk" sound they finally tell me its a transmission problem that is now out of warranty $3,000. I had the vehicle towed to a transmission place and Rainbow GMC lost some of the parts that the transmission repair facility needed, so I had to spend another $300.00 Rainbow is HORRIBLE. I will never go back...........never buy another General Motors. Ironically this was my first GM ...............go figure. First and last for me.

This was our 3rd experience in purchasing/leasing a vehicle from Rainbow Northshore Buick GMC within a couple of years. In my travels with dealing with other dealerships when looking to purchase a truck a couple of years ago, I kept coming back to Rainbow GMC and that experience and the others has been a pleasurable satisfied experience. The team at Rainbow has given us great customer service with dealing with Sales, Financing, and the Service Department. Have total confidence in recommending to friends and family.

I had driven about 30 miles when I pulled up to a stop light and had smoke come out from the hood on the passenger side. I pulled over and raised the hood the engine compartment was smoky and smelled like diesel fuel. I went immediately to Rainbow they quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me a loaner truck to use while repairs were made to my turbo exhaust pipe and injector. I picked my truck up the following afternoon runs great and no more problem. Service was quick and cordial.

My son just graduated from LSU and really needed a new truck. We contacted the dealership through their website, within 10 minutes we had a reply. So we drove over and 2.5 hours later my son drove away with a 2017 GMC Sierra Crew Cab SLT without me having to co-sign for him. They gave him top dollar for his trade in and put him in the truck he wanted. Our family will buy from them again; Honestly I was so impressed I almost talked myself into buying a Canyon I had my eye on.

My sales person was great, he was nice and very helpful. The service Dept on the other hand, sucks. They need a major over haul. Im still aggravated at the fact that I bought a used truck from them and 3 days later my door speakers starting dropping like flies. I had 3 that worked, now I have 1 that works. Brought it in and got the sorry cant help you. Even though I purchased the extended warranty. I called 5 times to speak to a manager and kept getting the run around.
