WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE (I really dont write reviews like this but there havent been many occasions where I was treated this badly as a paying customer.) I brought my Acadia in for an oil change and to check out my fan that was running more than normal. I had an appointment scheduled on a Friday at 10:30 and was told the car would be ready by 4. Shortly before then I got a call from the rep (I believe his name was Joseph) letting me know that it wasnt quite done yet and quoted me the price to fix the issue causing the fan to run (it needed a new water pump.) He said they would do their best to get it done that night but if nothing else it would be done early Saturday. A bit annoying but I appreciated the communication. Thats where things went awry... After not hearing anything all morning I called at 11:30 to check in on my car. I was told then that it would be done by "early afternoon". After seeing the early afternoon come and go I called again at 3:30 to check again and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I showed up an hour later and was met with a smug "its not ready yet" from the rep there (I didnt get her name but she has dark hair and sits at the desk/station on the far left.) When I told her that I was told it would be done in 30 minutes an hour ago she blankly stared at me like I was inconveniencing her before going to check with the technician. After having to sit and wait ANOTHER 45 MINUTES I was told that it was finally done. No apologies for my car being over 24 hours after what was promised other than "the tech had to test drive the car after putting everything back together." I was presented the bill from another female rep (I didnt get her name either, I was a little busy trying to keep my composure due to the building frustration) I discovered that I was charged $85 more (on top of an already $750+ bill) than what was quoted to me on the phone the day before. "Those are the taxes that we cant calculate before everything is complete." Upon further review it looks like there were $25 in taxes, which is reasonable but there was an additional $59.99 for "Shop Materials and/or Misc Supplies." So now Ive been lied to, treated terribly and now price gouged and without my car an extra 24 hours. This all could have been mitigated by using basic communication and communication skills (which, in fairness I did receive the first day from Joseph.) As a result, AutoNation, youve taken the last $854.61 you will ever take from me. Youre Fired!

They were friendly enough but my service was a total cluster .... I made my appointment 2 weeks in advance for a Friday dropoff. I dropped my car off at 7:00 am to have the seat heater fixed. My vehicle had an extended warranty and they were aware of it when i checked it in. I called to check the status of my car at 4:00 pm and they said it was a computer that needed to replaced and said it was $540 to replace it.(She was surprised that I had a warranty) I nicely asked when they were going to call me to let me know this and the lady said they never got to my vehicle until late in the day because they had people that walked in and waited for their vehicle. I explained that i made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for a reason and my vehicle should not have been moved back on the list because I wasnt waiting for it. They said they would have the vehicle fixed in 2 hours and I could pick it up that evening. I made the mistake of telling her that I would just pick it up in the morning. I called the next morning(Saturday) to see if I could pick up my vehicle. They informed me that they never had a chance to get to it the previous evening as promised and the new contact I discussed this with said I probably wouldnt get it until Monday. At this point I was no longer being nice. I had to explain the entire story to this lady and she said they are short staffed on Saturdays but she said she would see what she could do. To my surprise they called around 2:00 pm Saturday afternoon to inform me that my vehicle was ready and I could pick it up. I quit decorating my Christmas tree and had my wife drop me off. I went in to settle up and pay for my tire rotation which was the only thing that wasnt covered. The cashier got on the computer and asked me if I got a call saying my car was ready and I confirmed with her that I did. She informed me that it wasnt ready and they still had it tore apart and they could put it back together and I could bring it back at another date. I told them to keep it over the weekend and Matt offered a loaner car. They did finally fix the vehicle on Monday but when I went in to pay for the tire rotation I was informed that no rotation/balance was done. At this point I was so done and was simply happy to leave with a bit of sanity..

Until this recent visit, we were happy with the service at this dealership and never felt like we were being upsold on needless repairs. That all changed on this last visit. We took our vehicle in to have the front brakes replaced and the rotors turned. We also mentioned the vehicle idled rough some times. They said they would look at it and get back to us with a price. They called later that day and said we needed new fuel injectors at $1100, new rotors at $500, and $400 to replace the brakes. WHAT?!?! We had taken our vehicle to our local garage before we took it to the dealership and they told us the rotors could be turned and front brakes would be around $300. They mentioned the injectors were a bit dirty and recommended some fuel injector cleaner (Lucas brand). Over the phone, AutoNation Buick said the brakes and rotor turn would be around $375 so we decided to go there because we trusted them and had great service in the past and the extra $75 was worth it. We told them we would take it back to our local mechanic and she told us we owed $150 for diagnostics....something she never mentioned up front when we gave them the keys. Utterly ridiculous! So...to summarize...we had to pay $150 for Autonation Buick to tell us they were going to overcharge us by over $1500. On the bright side, we did get a car wash....but at $150, that was the most expensive car wash EVER!!! We will not take our vehicle there again unless its a recall or something covered under the extended warranties Buick has (wave plate, power steering, etc.). We will also never buy a Buick again...this Enclave has had so many repairs and replacement parts its ridiculous. GM should be ashamed to produce a vehicle like this!!!!

It appears that if I had purchased a vehicle from AutoNation Buick GMC Park Meadows, I would probably be very satisfied. That is until I needed to have my vehicle serviced. Apparently, the service department at this place doesnt understand the meaning of service. Employees have been rude, uncooperative, and unhelpful. As a returning customer, I would expect the folks at the service department to want to take care of me, to help me out, and go the extra mile to make me a happy customer. Instead I have been met with opposition, annoyance, and plain rude responses to my requests. For example, I had an appointment for an oil change today (which I had to make over a week ago). Just yesterday, my check engine light came on. Instead of making a special trip to Autozone for a free code reading, I asked the service rep to pull the code for me while my oil was being changed. I was told it would cost me $100,000 to diagnose, (ok, so it was $159, but it might as well have been $100,000) when all I was asking for was a quick plug the computer in and tell me what the code is. Instead of just saying, yeah we can take a quick look at that - the lady explained how they would need multiple hours to run diagnostics to determine what the issue was, and that I "didnt have an appointment for that" and I would have to bring it back in another day. Helpful customer service oriented employee? Not even close. More like corporate robot. Thanks for being considerate of my time. Bottom line is the customer service here is non - existent. Do yourself a favor and find a different place to get your vehicle serviced. Oh, and if you find a good one, let me know. Im not coming back here.
