I have nothing but great things to say about Bill and the team at Preferred Powersports! First, they are very easy to communicate with before you visit. I was coming up from Ithaca, so wanted to make sure they had a certain bike in stock and wanted to ask a few other questions. They respond to emails promptly and are also easy to talk to by phone. When I visited, I encountered a relaxed, low-pressure showroom where it was quite easy to look around and then engage a salesperson when I was ready to talk business. I talked to Bill about buying a bike and he was professional and efficient. Once we agreed on a price, the paperwork was done and everything was clearly explained to me. I was amazed at how smoothly everything went. I took delivery of my bike and am already enjoying the ride!

I learned a valuable lesson by not purchasing my Yamaha 2015 VX1100 waverunner from Preferred Powersports, that other dealers may be less but in the long run Customer Service is worth spending a few extra dollars to gain as well as NOT having my valuable time wasted. I purchased a 2015 VX1100 cruiser from another dealer and had major issues with the machine. Sean Kelly & his service team took excellent care of me, supported me in my case with the other dealer & with Yamaha. I would highly recommend if you are within a 1 hour to 1.5 hour drive time, or more that you trust and buy from Preferred Powersports of Syracuse. My next machine, even if it costs me $200+ extra when I am ready will be purchased from them and all my future service will be performed by them.

First time I shopped here was for a helmet and jacket for my wife. Everyone was extremely helpful with trying on whatever we wanted. I appreciated being treated so well as I havent been at other stores (I wont name them). Second trip was to get an inspection on my FZ-07. Literally done in 5 minutes and again, everyone was super nice. Most recently I brought in my Daytona for some tires, check over etc. The service bill was less than originally quoted, was done in a very timely manner and they let me know what was going on every step of the way. Checked over the bike afterwards (as I always do) and everything was top notch. Everyone there treated me like a valued customer and a friend. Ill continue to do business with them and only them. Highly Recommended!

Very friendly sales staff and helpful service department. Have bought a few machines here and they are always helpful after the sale. I own 3 polariss from here a 2010 rzr, 2016 sportsman and 2016 outlaw 90. Ive been pounding on my rzr for years and its never broken once. I couldnt find the color I wanted in stock, every time I went there looking they were all sold out of the orange, so my salesman Josh found me one. I love my new 2016 sportsman 570 and the wife and kids can now ride with me for a great day of family fun. Brad behind the counter is always very helpful and informative and my salesman Josh gave me the best price around. Would definetely recommend shopping here for your powersports needs.

Went in Saturday to look at a bike. Ive had my eye on the Vulcan for some time. The price was great but the sales person we were dealing with was such an arrogant a$$! My husband tried to make small talk about a special order bike that obviously doesnt sit on the showroom floor and the guy was so condescending and not very personable. Its not like we were wasting his time as NO ONE was in there! We were so turned off by him I walked out without even considering buying from him. I never even got his name as I knew 5 minute into talking with him he had lost my business! Ill spend a little more and go someplace else!

I bought my bike there, and I go back to get parts and stuff, always felt like a second class citizen there. Even bought some Saddle Bags there, the wrong bags were ordered, was told I could not return them. End of conversation. I had to go back to the manufacturer, pay for shipping to get the correct bags. Unfortunately, they are the only big shop open on my days off. June 4th, 2015, talked to manager, he seems like a nice guy.. Brad is great salesman, explained everything.. still on the fence. Unfortunately, they are still the only big shop open on my days off.

Bill is a horrible salesman! My husband and I were going to purchase a bike and it was over the weekend. We called first thing this morning and he said yep let me get back to you the bike is still available. Called back over an hour later and said the bike is sale pending even if we called first to give him money down! I would NEVER recommend this place ever! I wish I could give it half a star! Bill you are a horrible person and i hope you never find a job in sales again! I will be taking care of this higher up!

I have purchased 2 new bikes from Preferred Powersports since 2011 and have had nothing but exceptional service . On my recent visit we were having a newly purchased used bike that we bought from a private individual inspected. John , the technician noticed the clutch needed an adjustment and took it upon himself to fix it. I wasnt charged for it, he just knew it wasnt right and fixed it. Everyone I have dealt with there has always been very professional and courteous . I will definitely be back .

After 1st hand experiences with all of the powersports dealers and shops in CNY over the past 15 years, I wouldnt take my motorcycles anywhere else. They never upsell, and they always use the best know-how and quality parts to get the job done right the 1st time. Nice selection of accessories & gear, and I even bring brands that they dont sell in for service. I genuinely believe that there is no reason to go elsewhere. My motorcycles - one less thing I have to worry about! Thanks guys!!

The worst customer service ever! Purchased a 2012 RZR 800 from here. The pre purchase inspection was never done. Machine was low on all fluids and tire pressure ranged from 3 to 22 lbs. Front end alignment was off over an inch and a half! Brought a second machine in for rear axle work and bearing replacement. Bearings wore out in less than 70 miles, and the rear carrier was put on 180degrees off. Store refused to fix their crapy work. Will never shop here again!

Terrible customer service. Bill is a terrible salesman. Tried to drop 10000 full on a bike, he was totally uninterested and wouldnt even attempt to work with me. have to say Im taking my business else where. Some other store is about to get 10000 cash. Oops good job bill at preferred power sports. Your crap attitude, laziness, and lack of interest to do business just lost the company you work for money. Good luck

I just recently bought a 2015 Triumph Street Triple and would have to say that I am extremely pleased with the professionalism and quality of service that Bill provided for me. I was able to trade in my old bike at a good price and sign for the new bike all within a couple of hours. I really feel like Bill put in the effort to make sure I felt like I was an appreciated customer.
