I have been wanting to cover-up a bad idea for years. Being military I have been in different states with lots of tattoo places all around. The places never felt right or the artists seemed in an altered state of mind or just not cut for the job. So I would just walk out. Recently I came home while my husband was deployed to Statesboro. I checked out the shops here but the guy recommended didnt do cover-ups. The guy who did was not highly recommended. So I hit up google to find an artist in Savannah. I found these reviews about Savannah Ink and was highly impressed. I emailed Peter a pic of my tattoo and sketch of my idea. He responded faster than expected. By chance he had an opening that same day. 1) The shop was clean and proffessional. I had looked at his work online and they looked phenomenal. 2) Peter was super nice, clean, and proffessional (just like his shop). He had my trust immediately. 3) My tattoo design was my 2nd childs disability logo. I had emailed this info earlier to him. He actually had the site up on his computer screen reviewing the logo even though I had sent a pic of my sketch. That really showed me he is very serious about his work. He took the time to research my idea to get it right. 4) I explained the effect I was looking for with the design. He sketched it a few times to ensure it was what I wanted without complaint and patience. Then Peter filled in the sketch with the negative effect I requested. My sister in law who had sketched the original design was with me. We were both blown away by the design. It was way better than the idea we had thought it would look like. Not only did it look awesome, it was priced fairly. 5) Peter used clean equipment. His work was meticulous. Awesome classic metal in the background. I couldnt believe the quality of his work. 6) From parking the car, talking with Peter, having the tattoo done, walked around a city block, and left was 1 hour total. I have family members in another state who like the design so much they asked for pics so they could get it done. I wish they were closer so I could send them to Peter Faehnrich. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! Highly recommended.

I truly cant say enough great things about Peter and Savannah Ink Tattoo as a whole! My husband and I had been thinking about getting tattoos for a little over a year, going back and forth with what each of us wanted. Peter listened to what we wanted and designed each of our tattoos from our original ideas. Both of our tattoos turned out more unique and better than we ever anticipated! For both, my husband and I, this was our first tattoo and Peter was very attentive to our concerns, anxiety, etc. having never gone through the process before. The whole space is very clean and makes you feel very welcome from the second you walk in. At first I was nervous, but Peters welcoming and warm disposition instantly put myself at ease. He truly is a people person and will make you comfortable from start to finish. Again, I truly cant say enough great things about Peter -- he made the whole process enjoyable and unique, all while maintaining the utmost professionalism. You can tell Peter truly is an artist that loves bringing peoples ideas to reality and giving them beautiful works of art on their skin. I never thought getting a tattoo would be FUN, but Peter is downright great & the whole process was awesome!! I would never imagine going to another artist after my experience with Savannah Ink Tattoo - my husband and I will be customers for life!!

The best, period. I had an ambitious idea for my first tattoo, which is a full sleeve on my right arm, and I didnt think I would find an artist I could trust to do a good job. After browsing some sites online, I found the Savannah Ink website and checked out some of Peters work and instantly knew this would be the guy. I emailed him with some details about my project and that same day I got a reply saying he was interested and excited. I went into his shop, which is a very nice, clean shop, and talked some details in person. Within a couple days he had sketched up a work of art that not only incorporated my ideas, but made them 100x better than I could ever had imagined. He got to work instantly, and the rest is pretty much history. Peter is extremely talented, professional, patient, and just an overall nice guy whos a pleasure to be around. I dont think theres any other artist I could have found that would have gotten as excited about my project as Peter did. He was so good at adapting to last minute inputs I would throw at him, he would just free-hand draw them on my arm and tie it in perfectly to what was already worked up. Im not sure when Ill be getting my next tattoo, but I know for sure where Ill be going. Peter at Savannah Ink is the best there is, and anybody looking for amazing work at a good price should go there too.

I moved to Savannah almost 2 yrs ago and began looking for a tattoo artist immediately. I was looking to start a sleeve and wanted to talk with the artist and feel out the shop. I visited all shops on Bay St., Victory Dr., Drayton St., etc..not one of them gave me the time of day, some didnt even give me so much as a "hello". I heard about Savannah Ink thru a friend of mine who just so happen to have a business card. I met with Peter and instantly was put at ease with his cool demeanor. He answered all of my questions, and erased all of my doubts. Finding a tattoo artist who truly cares about their customers is rare, most are just in it for the money, but not Peter. He will continually add more and more to the artwork, but never asks for more than what was discussed. If you need him to draw you up something, no problem..need a 2nd or 3rd drawing, no problem..still not happy, he will keep trying to get you the tattoo that you want at a price that is well below anybody else..trust me Ive checked. Peter and I finished my Polynesian sleeve today and I could not be happier with the results. This makes my 9th tattoo, Im just sorry it took so long to find a guy who not only has amazing skill, but also actually cares. Peter I truly hope your business grows as big as your heart!! 5 STARS!!!!

I finally bit the bullet and decided to get my first tattoo! It took about a year for me to really decide if I wanted one. I am so glad that I followed through with it and that Peters work and art is on my arm! I could not be happier. There is a reason why they say that Savannah Ink is a "great tattoo shop" Its one of a kind! Just like the owner Peter. Peters work Is AMAZING! If you are looking for great tattoo artist in Savannah, Peter is the one you want! Being that this was my first tattoo I wanted it to be special. He worked with me on the size the color and the placement of the tattoo. His attention to detail,shading and coloring was top notch! The shop was VERY clean and organized and you could tell with the art work hanging on the walls that Peter really enjoys what he does. He is extremely talented, nice and reliable AND an excellent tattoo artist. Just yesterday I was walking through city market proudly showing off the art work on my arm and someone walked up to me to compliment the work and this person knew Peters work! It blew me away! For someone to notice someones work without me telling them it was done by Peter.. it just amazed me. Dont take a chance with your tattoo- get your tattoos done at Savannah Ink!
