Lets start with....I am a former employee of this company. Im not the normal disgruntled employee but I do believe some truth about this company should be known. Customers: I cant stress enough to CHECK EVERYTHING THAT COMES OFF THE TRUCK. Top bottom left right under over check it. Ive been in every type of home from your trailer to your mansion and you all get the SAME TREATMENT, USED FURNITURE!!! even if youve paid full price you will receive recycled furniture. Ive even delivered items with holes in them, not because Im a terrible deliveryman, but the company puts so much stress on the drivers to get it in the home. Glue it staple it slap it together as long as it wont fall in (though Ive had to go behind some that didnt even mind that) GET IT IN THE HOME. The delivery gets a bonus for this. As for being an employee, your "10"hour shifts are a joke. Ive had a team that was out nearly 1 am because the company insisted that it be done. No harnesses no back braces no lift gate for items that weighed well over 300 lbs.actually the reason Im no longer there, ended with an injury that put me out of a profession that Ive done well over 12 years. And was told that after surgery there would be no place for me there. Youd never receive backing when it came between you v.s. the customer and constantly would go against policy as long as the "ticket" price was high enough. I dont recommend buying/working at this establishment. STEER CLEAR

When I went here, I was shopping around trying to get the best bang for my buck. I didnt want to look all over town, but I felt it was smart to check a few places, compare prices, see what quality/ finish I am getting for the price I am paying. I was helped my a lady by the name of Harlene at first. She was OK with showing me around, but kept trying to get me to buy expensive furnishings I didnt really want or need, I was trying to keep things affordable while getting what I needed for my new apartment. When I declined to fill out a credit application on the spot, she said she would get her card for me and she seemed done helping me. I walked around, picked out what I wanted, and ended meeting a person named Derron I believe. He didnt pressure me at all, and gave me exactly what I wanted, which was a written quote of everything I had picked out, and threw in the bed frame which was nice of him. I told him I wasnt buying right that second, and he understood it was a big decision which takes time. I went home, thought about it, and got everything I wanted the next day. I was approved for financing within about 2 seconds of filling out the application. I know I look young, but I was there to buy and was qualified. Derron took me seriously and ended up earning my business. Delivery was quick and painless as well, I hope I dont have any reason to go back for a while, but if I do I will feel comfortable doing so.

This is the WORST place to purchase furniture. If I were you, I would run. My husband and I purchases our king bedroom set from this store. The bed that was delivered was scratched everywhere and did not include the proper hardware or the support beams to hold the bed up. Havertys sent their store decorator to try and solve the issue. After she had to borrow OUR drill, she repeatedly attempted to drill holes to hold the slats, but in the wrong places. Now, the bed has holes everywhere and she even hit the rail with the drill, and tried to HIDE it from us. We have waited over a WEEK for them to send us a new one. Today, they finally sent out a new one, only to find that it is more damaged than the one that we originally got. The store manager has YET to call us to fix the issue. WORST FURNITURE STORE.

Extremely disappointed in Havertys! After scheduling a delivery and paying their fee, they gave me a delivery time between 9:15-11:15 am. No one showed up between then. After calling customer service THREE times, I got all different times for delivery. On the FOURTH call to customer service after no one showing up, they "couldnt get ahold" of their delivery team and never offered a time of delivery. Now Im sitting here without a delivery time and missing a day of work. Ridiculous!!! Never again will I purchase from them.

We will never buy a single thing at Havertys again. After trying to get a faulty couch resolved they only wanted to do Band-Aids and now weve got a couch that looks awful after only a few months of use. After spending almost $2000 and you think youre going to get something of quality but it looks like something we bought at Walmart. Very disappointed in the way they handled this problem.

The furniture definitely last a long time, if you take care of it. I recommend buying a lot at the same time though. Otherwise, youll get stuck with a little bit less than retail.
