A joke! Went there on 8/20/2016 with my wife and 1 year old son. We waited 4 hours for T.J. to inform me that there were many applications in pending status, yet people were walking out with tags for their new vehicle. Mind you, this was after TJ said "Ill write it in stone, you have money down and a trade in?!? And you make a decent living, I can see you walking out of here tonight with a vehicle!" So we waited for nothing! Didnt even test drive a car! TJ says "we will get ahold of you Monday with the results of your credit check!" Monday came, no one called. I called at 5:30p.m. and spoke with Anthony, he said "let me go upstairs and talk with upper management and I will personally call you back shortly!" On tuesday, still not receiving a call I call back again! Kept getting the run around! Here it is 9 days later & I get a call from Anthony asking me if I still have a car? I advised him "no," and that I would be down later on after work. I get there, greeted by TJ, not even remembering me, tell him who I am and that Im here for Anthony. I wait 30 minutes and finally was seen by Anthony. He tells me the previous car Im looking for is sold, so I go out to the lot seeing what peaks my interest. I told him a 2012 impala, as I am need of a 4 door vehicle. He tells me the impala is too much, that all I can get is a 2015 Ford Fiesta with 34,000 miles for $14,900! Im 65", how am I supposed to fit in a car like that? And your 2012 LT impala with 43,000 miles is more than $14,900? While waiting I hear another salesman tell a family they have no cars under $6,000! Customer service is extremely POOR! The "Im in a pickle, drive for a nickle" is a crock too! Do not go here unless you want your time wasted on over priced cars! I waited 5 hours! I caught several employees in lies, just telling me what I want to hear! Walked out of there today with no car & I will NEVER go back! I work too hard for my money to have someone tell me what I "have" to buy!

OMG! 5 Star Auto is truly a GODSEND. My husband and I decided it was time to get a newer car and I had heard about 5 star on 92.3. I called them to see if we could come in that morning. Katrina answered the phone and said come in between 11 and noon and I asked her what we needed to bring with us. Her exact words were "Bring your id and 2 paycheck stubs so we can make sure you are not over budgeting and we can get you a car you can afford." That impressed us so much because usually dealerships want to sell you the most expensive car on the lot. When we got to 5 star I was immediately impressed with the selection of cars and how clean the office was and it was a happy cheerful place- not all stressful. TJ (the finance mgr) greeted us and was with us basically from start to finish! Victoria took over during the process to show us the cars and we test drove them. We rolled up in a 1999 Buick Century with one window working and no ac and we left 5 star as proud owners of a 2014 Toyota Corolla Sport. Runs awesome, is clean and the interior is gorgeous but the most important factors are it is economic and has air and windows that work. Here are our pointers for anyone heading to 5 star (which we strongly recommend before going anywhere else first): Dont be nervous like we were before we got there.....no reason to be. Crappy credit does NOT mean you cant get a nice car at 5 star. Make sure you eat before going because it is a lengthy process but totally worth it. Dont think you will only have to settle for the car on the lot that you really didnt like.....TJ and Victoria will find one you like and give it their all plus some to make it work so you leave there a happy customer. Lastly, THANK YOU 5 STAR FOR EVERYTHING...WE ARE TRULY HAPPY WITH OUR PURCHASE!

First off i want to start by saying that they sell old rental cars and you never want to buy and old rental car well my girlfriend did unfortunately i wasnt there when she did or she wouldnt have gotten it it is a 2015 toyota corolla so she bring it home and i instantly found out that the passenger side front door wasnt working properly now mind u the car is still under factory warranty but the door had been tampered with as i notice a screw was missing and there was screw driver pry marks on the door panel so took it to a toyota dealership and they stated that if any body had tampered with that door that it voided the factory so theres that well we call five star and they order the part a week later they needed to put a gps system in the car as the finance company wanted so a couple days after they did the car wouldnt start it wouldnt do anything finally i got it started and got it home and got to looking under the hood to see what the heck was going on and found out that they hasd cut factory wiring harness and didnt even do it the right way and it wasnt getting a good connection also had the wires for the gps exposed in the engine bay so i took it up there mind they did put it in the right way the second time but notice they put pry marks in the steering column plastic i would never purchase a car from this place and especially let them work on it

Went in with an older car 02 lancer. Had to refinance my loan to have work done. I owe 3500 still. Now I went in want to get a car and roll what I owe into a new loan. I bring home in between 12 and 1500 ever two weeks. I figured i made enough to get a decent car and get rid of my older. So me and my fiance go in I fill all the paperwork out they run the numbers. And there option was to say they cant take my car and to put me in a HHR with a 3rd car payment. How is that a good option? Seriously why would I want to drive home a car Im wanting to trade in and have a payment on a 3rd vehicle. I dont want to shell out more money every month. I understand my payments would have been higher cause of the roll over of the old loan but a 3rd car payment thats not a good option but it was the only option I was given. So no trade in money no pickle event ability and in the fine print if they cant finance you they will send you to the Bahamas but since they said that they could give me a 3rd car payment I was technically qualified. Telling someone that the only way to get a reliable vehicle is to take on a 3rd payment and more debt is never a viable option. I almost did a one star but they were very professional and courtious. So I gave them 2. But I am not at all happy with the option that was given.
