On 11/23/16 I purchased a 2009 Ford escape from Image Auto Sales, the vehicle didnt even leave their lot until 12/3/16. I contacted Image auto to receive a refund on my extended warranty from ASC auto warranties.. On 12/5/16 at approximately 2:40 PM I faxed my authorization of cancellation to ASC to receive the refund on the warranty amount. ASC informed me that the actual warranty refund check would be issued by Image Auto. Image Auto informed me it would take them 1 week to make the refund to my bank First Community Credit Union. That date (12/12/16) came and went and Image Auto made no attempt to refund the money to the bank and no attempts to contact me. I have called their phone number weekly but have been informed every time that "Refunds are issued by the owner, and that he is not in the office." If I call in the morning the owner is not in the office until the afternoon-evening, if I call in the evening the owner is there in the mornings. The owner is mysteriously there every time accept for the times I call during the week during normal business hours. I have contacted ASC warranty and they have provided me with a certified letter and verbal confirmation that refunds are to be issued by Image Auto Sales. Below is a letter from the warranty company they gave me in the event this ends up going to court. If you read the letter carefully it also states their company never even received the documentation to activate my policy. They took my money but never activated my policy. That violates federal law and goes beyond being a shady business practice. If thats not enough, my power steering on the same vehicle went out the vehicle I bought from them (an 09 Ford escape) that didnt even leave their lot until 12/3/16. On 12/17/16 at 12:00 PM the power steering on the vehicle failed. I promptly contacted Image Auto at 2:41 PM to report the power steering failure. They informed me that the vehicle was not their responsibility to fix and that they would not cover the cost of repairs which estimates currently show to be in the area of $1500. This vehicle was in my possession for only 2 weeks and had an expensive mechanical failure. The guy I spoke to (the manager) named Don told me it was my problem before he hung up. ended up spending $4,000 in cash up front and $5,000 in loans for a vehicle that will cost $1500 to fix and a $2,505 warranty thats no longer in effect and not being refunded.

HORRIBLE!! DO NOT CONSIDER BUYING FROM HERE!! THE OWNER WAS THE MOST RUDE PERSON I HAVE EVER SPOKEN TO. ABSOLUTELY ZERO BUSINESS ETHIC. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I was sold a vehicle with a headlight not working properly, but they said no problem they would take care of it and have it fixed. I Went to Country Club Auto it wouldnt even pass inspection without it working. Again they said they would have it fixed at their cost. I went back to Country Club Auto they passed my vehicle and said they fixed the light. Later that evening when my headlights kicked on I noticed the light was still not working. I called them and told them it was still not working. I took it back to Country Club they then ordered a light, kept my car for 3 days and said they didnt know how to fix it. They gave me the light and said have it fixed somewhere else. I was then ignored numerous times after at Image Auto. They have now sent me to another auto service company which they said it just needs an extra part to make the light work. Now after all the time of them promising to fix the headlight they are not. I called and spoke to the owner and he was incredibly RUDE and asked me if I had it in writing of them promising me they would fix the light. Everyone there was aware of light from the day we purchased the vehicle and everyone had promised it would get fixed. He ended our call by telling me that even though he said before he would take care of it now he will not pay for anything and told me to go pick up my car and hung up on me.

Day of purchase (Oct 2016) and experience was good. Seemed like a good vehicle I was purchasing. Traded in a vehicle, didnt get much for it but I was OK with what I got. Driving home, I had a "service alarm" pop up. Called about it, was told its probably just a dirty sensor and to reset it and see if it returns. Two weeks later "alarm" is back, then was told you bought as is. Correct, and that is my fault. Took to get oil change, refused from 2 places due to a HIGH oil pressure gauge. December approached, cold outside. Went to use the heat.....negative the vehicles heat does not work. (Again as is) Vehicle starting making god awful squeaking noises. Took to shop to get checked out, wheel bearings on both front tires were NG. Mechanic shown me the wheel wobble, he said a few more months and your wheels potentially fly off. He said, NO way this could have passed a simple safety "inspection". On top of it, he said the entire underneath has been super lubricated with silicone spray, this was to reduce the "noise" i am sure for selling purposes. I am a positive/good person and I do not like sharing hurtful comments. My comment to anyone looking at a vehicle here, have it checked out by YOUR mechanic not the one behind the building. You have may a good experience, but understand there are chances of having a not so good and super expensive experiene that I have had. Good Luck.

Scam artists with absolutely zero integrity. I live in California and put a deposit down on a vehicle of interest because I was told that the vehicle had been inspected multiple times and had nothing wrong with it. I even asked specifics about cosmetic and mechanical issues because a vehicle with 170,000 miles is bound to have some. I drove across country and purchased it relying on their word. Fact is that after shipping the vehicle home and having it inspected properly I found out that it was not as they said it was and had thousands of dollars worth of problems (even the specifics I had asked about). My multiple messages to the owner were ignored and I was left high and dry. I gave up on it. I decided to reach out one last time before writing a bad review, After finally speaking to the owner (over a month later), Instead of working everything out like gentlemen, I was met with rudeness and continual defensive excuses, I finally had to hang up on him. Dear customers, Ill tell you the same thing that they kept telling me, "you could have backed out at any moment" :) good luck "bad" image automotive.

Terrible place to do business. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this place unless you want to be lied to, even before you go to the lot. Spoke with Erin Ward. She seems all nice and pleasant but shes a BIG liar. She told me at first that with the $500 down I was PRE-APPROVED. I opted not to go to their lot due to me already knowing how dealers lie. She stated it wasnt a credit check done yet until I come in. A few days after speaking with her, I see a hard inquiry on my credit. I called to see why, she (Erin) then stated that I got an actual approval and to come in. Not even an hour later, she texts me from a weird number telling me I need more money down and the Fusion I was approved for was sold. TERRIBLE place, definitely reporting this to the BBB.
