Hannaford is clean, well stocked, and very convenient. What makes Hannafords in Lake Placid special though, is the folks who work there. Its always a pleasure to shop at Lake Placids Hannaford. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store manager Ryan always has a smile for a customer, as does Ryan in Produce, and Derek at the fish counter. The clerks greet you and say "thank you", as if they appreciate your business. Kudos to everyone who works there, and thank you.

I was in Hannafords in Lake Placid for the first time yesterday. I came in to shop with my daughter and a group of teenage girls who are training at the Olympic Center. I wanted to make them some cupcakes for a 4th of July treat. I was expecting a small town, friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, the customer service was poor, the prices were high, and the manager was downright rude. Next time I come to visit her next, Ill make sure to take my business elsewhere!

I love this place. All my camping excursions have been awesome in large part because of this supermarket. All the best choices in food and most especially BEER have made each and every camping trip the tip of perfection. Easy to get to if youre not a local and everyone is friendly in the store.

My favorite supermarket! Clean and well lit. Fresh produce, nice selection of cheese and I love the olive bar! Great meat department as well. When in town I like to pick up their rotisserie chicken for an easy dinner. I always find what I am looking for when I am there.

I love Hannafords, however i find a lot of groceries are a bit overpriced and cashiers have a tendency to put uncooked meat with vegetablees which i find to be unsanitary even if they are wrapped. Otherwise a great store!
