I reviewed the previous comment reviews regarding this store because I have used an Eyemart Express before and had great results. Some of the reviews were negative so reluctantly I went to the store with my script from my surgeon. For one thing, this store is in a town where a major university is located and Im sure has a lot of traffic. It was very busy the day I stopped in. I was pleasantly surprised to get the courteous service from an experienced tech that I received. My glasses fit very well and I see great with them. After I retired I worked at an optical store for a while, and I know how busy it can get and how much the techs have to learn in order to give quality service. In short, I recommend this store ,especially the tech Ian, to anyone needing service. If I were still in business, I would hire him myself ! Thank you for the chance to express(no pun) my opinion!

I recently bought one pair of glasses from Eyemart and I was leery due to the old reviews but I was thoroughly surprised by such a pleasant experience. Just like all retail business, it tends to get busy. It had been crowded that day, but I was warmly welcomed! I was astounded first of all that the retail staff was amazingly sweet and helpful and also because of the great deal I got! The girl that helped me (Randi) was very genuine and knowledgeable! I do NOT like pressure sales and this is exactly the opposite of what I experienced! She nor any of the other techs tried to "take my money" by selling me stuff I didnt need. Im grateful for the whole staff at Eyemart Express for striving to provide excellent service! THEY DID FOR ME!!!!

I recently had an eye exam and purchased eye glasses from here. The eye exam was quick. It only took about 15-20 minutes. I purchased one pair of eye glasses and got the second pair for free. My glasses where not available immediately due to the laser machine being broken but where available 2 days later. Eye Smart sent me a friendly text message telling me that my glasses where ready. When picking up my glasses, an employee made sure that my glasses fit well and made adjustments when needed. All employees were extremely nice and helpful. There are many great selections of mens and womans frames to choose from. The store seemed spotless and well organized. I recommend this place if you need eye care service.

I spent $280 on work safety glasses and home and I still havent received my safety shields for my work glass. I purchased my glasses in December and two months later no shield . I wish eyemart would consider that people work hard for their money and when you buy there products , they should get what they paid for. I feel like I got robbed . But its OK I will never recommend the place . Tuscaloosa or any location. Its not about the money it about doing right by the customer.

They are absolutely the worst in tuscaloosa for glasses. got my prescription wrong 3xs. When asked for a refund, said they dont do that. So they sent them off again, still came back wrong. I had to email home office in Texas to get my refund. Everytime i got them i took them to my doctor that i got my prescription from, they told me the lens they put in were way off. my doctor even rechecked me! Eyemart is just full of incompetent people even the district manager.

By far the best experience with eye care I have ever had. Cheaper than the competition. Every associate in the store was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable of their products. The doctor, Dr. Victor LaCour, was the friendliest optometrist Ive ever met and quick to answer any questions I had, as well as explain his procedures, helping me discover just the perscription I needed.

THE EYE DOCTOR WAS NICE AND HIS STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, BUT THE PEOPLE AT THE EYE MART PART INSIDE; ARE NOT! THEY KEPT WANTING TO ARGUE WITH THE DOCTOR! I got new glasses one day a physical at m,y MD the next failed my test and had to go back and get new glasses. the doctor at this location told me that my eyesight changed.just real strange that I wear a pair of glasses for a year and it doesnt yet from one day to the next it did . Hum!

Not worth nothing. Went 5 times to have glasses made it and remade they do not know what they are doing so now stuck with glasses that I cant wear .and they wont refund your money they are re very incompetent people. I will get intouch with the bbb and my lawyer

Absolutely terrible staff. They are slow and awful about returning a phone call. I have been trying for several months to get my contacts through my insurance and they keep giving me the runaround. Go somewhere else. I will never go there again.

Bad doctor. Dr. La Cour. Rude and abrupt. Cheap, but you get what you pay for. Would not recommend. Also, the eyeglasses he prescribed me were wrong. Had to be made 2x and they took over 1 week to get back. Never again.
