I recommend calling this Ace store to ensure they are open. On Labor Day, a manager called me to let me know an item had arrived and I could come to pick it up before 4:30pm, however, the store closed much earlier than that and nobody called me back to let me know. I was pretty disappointed that the miscommunication resulted in a fruitless trip to the closed store in a carshare. When I shared my experience with Dee, the manager on duty when I did pick the item up, she was very apologetic and gave me 10% off of my purchase. I appreciated that they were willing to do their best to amend the situation.

Markus Supply (google has it as Markus Suppply, not sure why there are 3 ps) is a well stocked hardware store. The people working there seem to know whats going on and they honestly have a lot of stuff. I wandered around for about 30 minutes just checking it out and was impressed. Their only downside (and why I put good for Appeal) is their hours suck. The latest they close is 5:30pm, which if you work, doesnt leave much time to get there. So basically: Hardware store-ness - Amazing Hours - Horrible

Well stocked & old fashioned style hardware store. Has an excellent mix of real industrial supplies for Machinists, Welders and Contractors as well as household things, cleaners and adhesives. Also has an ample hardware and plumbing supply department. Friendly and energetic staff usually help you find what you need and will be willing to order something if its not in store.

Great experience. Went in today for two different projects at two different times. Both times they took the time to really understand what I was doing, my budget and then gave me great choices. A bunch a really knowledgeable and nice guys. A couple of less experienced guys who are being mentored by the more senior ones. Nice scene.

Had security cameras installed for which the co. gave me signs but no post to put it on. Took the signs to Markus where a wonderful guy sold me the wooden posts for a few bucks & attached the signs to them at no charge. Felt guilty for spending so little money. Highly recommend this place for service.

They dont seem to run things here by the books, but the staff is fast and efficient, and they have lots of odds and ends. I found the specialty blank key I needed quickly, and the service staff cut it for me in no time at all.

This is larger than average for a hardware store, but still tiny cpmpared to a big box. The selection of merchandise is fairly extensive. Customer service is good.
