This is hands down one of the least useful hardware stores that I have ever been to. Their selection is lacking in all areas except chintzy decorations. Employees are generally less knowledgeable than the folks who work at either Ace Hardware shop in the area. Today for example, on the phone I was told that they had sheets of plywood they could cut down to half sheet size. After taking the time to drive to Orchard Supply Hardware, it transpires that all they have in the entire store is quarter sheets of "craft" plywood. What a waste of my time!

I really liked this Orchard Supply Hardware. I was looking for several different items and didnt have a good understanding of the store layout. I had to ask several staff for directions because I was under time constraint. The staff I interacted with were all very friendly. This location is super convenient as it is accessible by subway. I dont think there is a parking lot. I am still trying to adjust the fact that many CA stores dont have complimentary parking lots. They open early at 7am/8am depends on the day of the week.

Orchard Supply Hardware has a really great, expansive selection of home improvement products. OSH is somewhere between a local hardware store and a big box style home improvement store like Lowes or Home Depot. There are always staff around to help out and they do a great job of helping load purchases into your car or truck if necessary.

The bins were empty. "We are switching suppliers." they said. "We dont know when we will have anything in them". This is a ridiculous sub-third-world attitude. The poster said "We cut..." and I asked if they would cut... "We dont do that" was the answer. The poster was less than 15 feet away. What is up with this place?

Since the buyout this has become an overpriced version of lowes but the remodel looks great. They have a good selection of odds and ends and are incredible well organized. Avoid this place if you need 2x4s or sheet goods. Come here if you need hardware bits and home project supplies.

I avoid this place when possible.... I only go when I need a tool or supplies for a home project right away. But the selection is limited, the prices are kind of outrageous, and checking out takes forever. If you have time, go to Home Depot instead, you will be better off!

Customer service is fantastic but theyre a little pricey for what you get. If I had my way I would fix the organization of the store because it can sometimes be impossible to find what youre looking for without looping the aisles a couple times.

One of the many renovated stores in the area. I like the new layout, except that the tools are now in the back. But I suppose its just as frustrating as having the milk or eggs in the back of the store as well.

The sales associates are so friendly and helpful here - Frank was especially helpful. The greeters and associates know where all the products are. Short lines on weekends :)

Good location, good selection. Ask the paint department about their new Weatherwash wood stain which gives wood a great aged look. No complaints!
