This review is a bit long, but please read. It is a long time coming, but after my recent dealings with the staff, Im compelled to make this post finally. Last year, I drove over an hour to Blackmans Cycle to buy a Scorpion helmet. They werent the closest dealer to me, but they seemed to have the largest selection in stock. My long drive did not disappoint. With the exception of maybe Cycle Gear, the selection of riding gear is unparalleled - and Ive been to every dealer within an hour radius of Bangor, PA. The staff was very friendly - from the salesmen on the floor through the parts guys at the desk. They worked with me to get the helmet I needed and was on my way. After a few days of wearing the helmet, I decided it was too tight for comfort. I rode back down to Blackmans unannounced without my receipt and spoke to a new person at the parts desk. No questions, ifs ands or buts...they exchanged the helmet on the spot. Fast forward to last week when I decided to ride down and have them look at a broken snap on my helmet liner. Again, no receipt and no issues. They took my information and told me theyd contact the manufacturer rep to have the issue remedied. A few minutes later, while I was perusing the gear, the parts guy came over and asked me if I could stick around for a few minutes because the rep would make is way over to fix the helmet today (another + for Scorpion helmets). About 30 minutes later, the rep arrived and fixed my helmet. While I was waiting for the rep, I purchased a heated jacket liner - partly because of the great service, but mostly because I always wanted one and they had my size in stock and on sale. A few days later I was looking over the packaging and noticed my liner was missing the electrical harness I needed to connect to the bike. A quick phone call to the dealer, and they pulled the harness for me and arranged to have it shipped to me free of charge. Parts arrived today, and all is well. Bottom line is that Blackmans will take care of you and is worth driving out of your way. Their selection and prices are good (if not very competitive) and their staff will go through great lengths to ensure satisfaction. In the age of the internet, having a local dealer like this is a diamond in the rough. Highly recommended!

Went to test drive a Can Am Spyder. We were greeted with a smile and ushered right to a waiting Spyder. Without a MC License I was not permitted to ride on the road but was allowed to ride their training course for as long as I wanted. We actually were intent on buying a leftover 2012 but Bob gave us a price on a 2013 that was better than another dealers leftover price. Finance (Christian) actually found us a fantastic rate on our loan even after we signed all the finance paperwork for a different lender. The Spyder was ready the following day as promised and the final paperwork went smoothly. The whole process was friendly and without pressure. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a Spyder or any other machine go to Blackmans and give them a try. Thank you to everyone we look forward to attending a Spyder ride with you in the future.

Whether youre an experienced rider or just looking to get your first bike or ATV, Blackmans is the place to go. They were beyond helpful with me when I brought in my old Honda Rebel that hadnt run in a few years. It took a lot less time for them to fix it than I expected, and they took the time to go over everything they did to make sure I was up to speed on what to look out for in the future. Since I was blown away by their service, I made it a point to buy a few new items including a helmet and some riding gloves. Im sure Ill be in the market for a new bike in the future and Blackmans will be the first and last place I shop. Thanks again for all of your help!

i purchased a 2007 gsxr 1000, i thought i was getting a good deal till a friend of mines told me to watch out for this dealership because they like to up the price too much. i went to kbb and appraised my bike and i over paid $2900 dollars i spoke to the owner himself he had nothing to say, overall i would never buy anything from this place again parts prices expensive as well and the Bs warranty they offer does not cover anything, because they own that warranty therefore they always find a way not to warranty anything. from now on i do business in NJ or NY they give u better deals up that way and you wont get ripped off like i did.

Ive been in here a few times to possibly purchase a bike, Ive also taken the MSF course here. Literally every time I was ignored by the sales associates for what I assume is stereotyping. I did buy a brand new motorcycle, just not from them. Im sorry every guy isnt in a business suit, or pulling up in his Audi. On top of that, Blackmans is incredibly over MSRP. Their prices are a lot worse than everyone else in the area. Do yourself a favor and go to coopersburg(several dealers) or montgomery cycle center. Youll be treated better, and pay a better price.

I just moved out here from Tampa florida a few months back. I went into blackmans and ordered new screws for my bike top to bottom because I have an insure with making sure my screws never strip.long story short they charged me a very fair price for dealer screws and had them 5 days earlier than expected shipped to their store. Im very pleased and Im looking forward to getting a bike from them this spring if the price is right thanks guys

Easiest used vehicle purchase I have ever made. Pricing was right on target and at delivery there were all types of perks I didnt expect, like a free oil and filter change, full tank of gas, free battery tender etc. The whole purchase was fast with no BS. I purchased a kingquad 750 trading my 500 last night with Jeff in sales and the rest of the crew and by far this is the best cyle shop around. The whole deal from the first phone calls to the guys changing tires 20 min before they close with a smile on their faces was honest, informative and just a pleasant time. Got a tire for my vrod price was very reasonable.they were very busy but did the effort of give me and appointment.first thing in the morning.mounted my tire with in 15 minutes and on top of that test drove the bike to make sure the tire was ok.awsome job.

Chris was a great guy to work with! They have several brands of ATVs as well as Sport bikes and other vehicles. I came here 3 times and was treated with respect and professionalism! If you are in the market for a bike, please check these guys out!
