Walked in and couldnt find what I was looking for, so I headed to find someone who can help me I only found one person at the register and one on the floor so I asked the girl on the floor pls can you please tell me if you have something to take the tear stain for my maltese? Her answer was; Nope we dont have it, with the only attitude then turned around to keep working on the fishes....I asked her are you sure cus my friend got it here and she send me here to get it...? This time she didnt even turned around to look at me and answer me she just said; nope..I bit my tongue and walked away and out of the store...Ive had several pets and I just recently moved to Howard Beach and this is the first petco ive been to that a staff has treated me so rude + the place dont look so neat or stocked up...sorry howard beach petco need improvement

This place is great! Ive been going here for a while now and I take my pet here because they offer a great value of service, vaccinations for your dog or cat and its adorable. They also have a bath station for your pet to give him/her a nice bath. And has a variety of stuff for your pet you can also take pix with Santa for the holidays when those special times come around. They have other services as well but unfortunately they dont clip there nails ...Personally I recommend petco

I made three purchases from this store in the past. I bought gold fishes, plants, and a 29 gal tank from the store. The gold fish selection in the store is very limited. A lot of gold fishes are out of shape. black moors have a long body. the plants are expensive comparing to other petco stores. the only reason I gave the store 3 stars is due its decent customer service...the sale rep is somewhat knowledgable in fishes.

Once took puppy for shots. All the puppies cried when they got their shots from a bad vet tech. She should not be able to administer shots all other petcos my dog was very calm she is made all the dogs scream and im being literal. She was very rude to the animals. Dont ever go for shots !!!! I love petco but dont come to crossbay for their shots. It happened last year. Not sure if she still works for petco

Ive waited years to write this ,hoping someone would correct the situation by now,(with glass walls and heaters!!) The dog bath area is AT THE FRONT DOOR! So while your dog is soaking wet,the door is. Constantly opening!! I am in shock it has not been addressed!! However,The staff is friendly and place is kept clean

Helpful staff but shelves are not always stocked well. The store is clean and my dog loves to come there and get a treat. Parking lot holds many patrons. You also can find sale items after the big holidays. They groom dogs and have the doctor visit once a month for doggy shots. Very good Petco!

The store is clean and well stocked. The staff seems friendly but I havent has to ask for much assistance. Its easy to get in and out of this location, there usually isnt much of a line and there is parking. I have two bunnies and they have a decent supply of grass, food and toys.

They are always stocked with the dog food I need. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable about their products. I love that I can bring my bulldog and give him a bath myself for only $10, and the best part is I dont have to clean up after, the staff takes care of that for me.

The pet wash stations are always filty, the floor is always ys wet, the blowers dont work in high speed, takes a lot longer to dry the dogs, needs better lighting. UPDATE : the new Manger, Chad is a great person and has changed how the store is looking and operating.

Very nice and helpful and friendly staff. You could tell they love animals. I found everything I needed for my cats. The prices were good. Some of the items are expensive but you have to "shop" just like any other store.
