I called about a quote for my wedding which is next May 2017. I had numerous recommendations about how beautiful, amazing, and afforable this place is so I was excited to see what they had to offer. I placed the call with someone and she said the head wedding florist was busy at the moment and she would give her my name and number and to expect a call within the week...good thing I didnt hold my breath that was 3 weeks ago. They might get a lot of business and missing one person might not mean much to them, but when your a bride paying for your own wedding looking for an affordable florist is hard. Even though they get a lot of recommendations I will not be one of them as I never even received a call back from them saying they couldnt even take me due whatever reason, just ignored.

I ordered flowers for my wife, specifically requesting only tulips. I requested red and white tulips. When the tulips arrived to my wifes employer they were a mix of 6 different colors and filled other cheap flowers. Also each tulip was smaller than one inch, and were completely dead within 2 days. I called back to the florist to voice my displeasure. The manager who I spoke with had a terrible attitude and proceded to argue with me. I did not want anything provided to me, all I needed was someone to acknoledge that the quality of the flowers were not ideal. I would never use Marcus Hook Florist again.

I cannot rave enough about the exquisite and magnificent bouquets, church floral arrangements, boutonnieres and corsages that the Marcus Hook Florist created for my wedding. They were absolutely stunning. Beyond anything I had ever expected. The management and staff at Marcus Hook Florist are professional, courteous and accommodating. Their prices cannot be beat. BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!!! Our daughters wedding was this past Friday night and Marcus Hook came through with some of the prettiest bouquets and table arrangements Ive ever seen. They arrived at hotel at the prefect time too! Through the whole planning process, the staff was helpful and friendly and made our daughter feel confident that all would go well. We used Marcus Hook Florists for my moms funeral at the recommendation of the funeral home. To say we were pleased is an understatement. They helped us in deciding what kind of flowers, explaining the pricing as well. The flowers (casket spray, head and foot pieces, and individual roses) were nothing short of beautiful. I will be using them whenever I need a florist.

*sighs* I wish I could post pictures for you of just how beautiful my flowers were for my wedding. Exactly what I wanted, beautiful, bountiful, and very long lasting. (And showed up RIGHT on TIME! and I had them going to 3 different sites! LOL) The best thing about working with a local, family run business? They were HALF the price of some quotes I received.
