My name is Crystal, I purchased a 2014 Nissan Rogue on 12/08/2016 VIN#5N1AT2MV5EC857333. I had to take the car to service not even a month in from purchase date. The car had a strong vibration on steering wheel when accelerating and steering wheel also had a clicking sound when turning to the left. When I went to my first service appt. the first thing they do is tell me that they have to replace the transmission. They give me a loaner car; I came back in a couple of days to pick up my car according to Service department they replaced transmission and did front end work like change suspensions and so on. The car still had vibration (just a little less), the steering wheel still had clicking sound and now the car was swerving to the right. I call back upset and I speak to JASON the worst customer service representative I have ever encountered. I explain the car is not aligned and continues to have a clicking sound on the steering wheel. He then questions me about the alignment “How I know it needs and alignment? What kind of road are you driving on” I explain to him the car is steering towards the right. He makes me an appointment, the day I arrive to the appointment JASON has a nasty attitude and continues asking me question insulting my intelligence on things that I know I am experiencing. It was incredible his demeanor towards me to the point where I asked him “ it seems as though I am bothering you when this is your job” His response was “ I am having a bad day”. At this point I ask for a manager because I do not have to deal with that kind of nonsense, all I want is to have a car I feel safe driving. I am still under warranty and I am just trying to get what I paid for because the car was sold to me for $23,237.87 for a used Nissan Rogue 2014 @33484 miles. The second time I went to the same service department I test drive with a tech and he agreed the car needed an alignment. At that moment they could not figure out what the steering wheel issue was and I had to then leave the car again. When I picked up the car the second time according to them they did the alignment and took the steering wheel off to check what the issue was. Honestly I do not know what they did, the steering wheel is now light as feather and the car is still not driving properly. My breaking point was in the recent snow storm, the car is AWD and it was swerving everywhere. Not only did it drive horribly but coming down a small hill like main road it did not want to break. I felt so unsafe, I contact Nissan consumer affairs they open a case they took 10 business days supposedly doing an investigation to give me an outcome that they could not replace the vehicle at this time. No one asked to drive the car or anything; they just went off of the paperwork that Baron Nissan provided them. I just took the car to another Nissan Service center and they tell me the transmission was installed incorrectly there are tons of things shifted. The car needs a wheel alignment, wheel balancing, tire rotation, fuel injection serv. and the front brakes are at 2 mil. I call consumer affairs for Nissan and they could not even transfer me to a supervisor, they have not done anything and now I am stuck with a Lemon because no one seems of help.

What other better way to describe the service at Baron Nissan on Glen Cove Road then WOW! My wife and I stepped into their office in early July with anticipation of just getting estimates for a car. I first met Pam after contacting her thru TrueCar. Pam introduced us to Raz who assisted us while we were looking at different models of the Nissan Rogue 2015. He verbally described all of the features as well as showed us the use of each button within the vehicle. He went over the preliminary details with us in regards to the vehicle and stuck to giving us the TrueCar price that we came in with. I explained to Raz that todays visit would just be in regards to pricing estimates and that we would not be buying today due to an upcoming event. Raz never pressure us at all to buy the car that day. We also visited another dealership that day in which the individual told me that if I put 1 dollar towards medical bill they could never come to me for collection, basically trying to push the car onto us. Fast forward to a month later, in which during the month timeframe I was in constant contact with Pam. Pam called in approximately 2 or 3 times in the month timeframe to inquire how I was feeling and doing but NEVER brought up the vehicle; that was always done by me. A month down the line I contacted Baron Nissan and spoke to Pam who provided me with some paper work that we could fill out and send in beforehand. I also spoke to Raz who stated that the price we discussed one month earlier was still in play now in August! We walked in and we were greeted by Raz. He brought the car out for us and had everything completed including cleaning and washing of the car. We then met with Valerie the finance manager who was a pleasure to work with. She assisted us in choosing the right warranties for the vehicle and ensured we received the best deal possible. All of the members of Baron Nissan that we worked with were a true pleasure to work with and they assisted us in all matters. What a great experience at Baron Nissan!

SUPERB EXPERIENCE... The dealership is not all that big and the cars are very crowded together; That is probably the only downside that I found. The staff was very friendly and the person who assisted me was genuinely concerned about my wants and needs in a car. My salesperson was Tony, amazing person and great salesman. He contacted me via phone 1 day before going to the dealership, he listened to what I wanted and right off the bat gave me the confidence that i needed in order to go through with a purchase. Anyways, moving on, he found me 1 possible car and then called me again to see if id be interested in getting one that was a bit more expensive but with a promise to get me a better deal for it and an all around better car. The morning comes and I depart my home to go to the dealer , (he gave me his own personal cell number to reach him) , I arrived at the dealer and told him I was there, he came out and gave me a warm welcome. He started off by saying," im sorry but one of the 2 cars sold... Good news is that the one thats here is the nicer looking one , I felt bad about the other one selling, so I moved it for you to this place where its a bit less visible so i could assure that youd get a chance to buy it. " It was all smooth sailing from there, I got to see the car, and inspect it and I fell in love with it. I moved on with the deal, again Tony always being extremely helpful and kind. He helped me with a few accommodations that i needed and assured me that I was going to be driving home with that car. In the end I purchased the car and indeed I did drive it home that day. I was very pleased with the service and the transparency of the deal. No hidden fees , No feeling that I was being pushed into something. Honestly I dont think I would have gotten a car that day if it were not for the superb service that tony provided. VERY PLEASED and I recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a friendly environment, with quality cars and no sneaky salespeople.
