One of the Worst auction experiences Ive had and Ive been buying cars for 21 years through auctions all over the country. I bought a vehicle through their auction with a great Condition Report and I sent it through PSI (One owner 05 Porsche Boxter S with great miles). The car needed thousands of dollars in Repairs - not maintenance. I sent the claim to PSI and they gave me the run around trying to deny all responsibility and THEY TOLD ME TO PIN IT ON THE TRANSPORTER, when the transporter had nothing to do with the problems the car was having! They were condescending and did not want to talk to the Porsche Master tech that looked at the car. They had made up their mind that they were not going to cover the problem or even assist me with the repairs and said to me that even if they spoke to the tech that it will not change their decision. The Porsche tech was familiar with this problem and also believed this is why the car ended up in the auction. The excuse I got was that since it is something that happens or a known problem that could arise, it is not covered under PSI. They did not offer to help with anything, not even waive the PSI fee. Another vehicle I bought, around the same time frame, had a leaking oil pan - also passed PSI with no problem. This is a $700 repair wholesale at $80/hr labor, but somehow it only costs them $480 so obviously, again, there was no assistance since they got it to fall below the $500 mark. The general manager was courteous; he told me in a nice way to screw off, but always made himself available... Realistically, everything could have easily been avoided had they done a better job on the Condition Report and actually disclosed everything they found wrong with the car rather than picking and choosing what they disclose. If youre an Online buyer, you rely on the information in the condition report to make your decision. As an online buyer, you are calculating your cost for reconditioning based on the information they give you. When you omit something so important and substantial such as this, you lose your customers trust. If customers dont trust you,and they realize you will not step in to make sure they are not getting screwed - relying on the CR and PSI - theyre NOT going to buy from you. I didnt feel like they appreciated my business in the least bit.

My company bought a car from here and it was not as described. Major issues with it that were undisclosed. Arbitration unsuccessful with Manheim but we will probably not stop there. We buy a lot of cars from Manheim and having to go through all their managers to come out of it without a resolution is unacceptable. We will never do business at this Tampa auction again.

I wish I can post a picture of all these people sitting down and 3 people at the desk waiting for help the staff here dont even look at you or bother to ask if you need help..the funny part is if they help you they wont even get up they yell at you from their desk jajaj wow thats manheim tampa worst service ever and this happen everytime not just ones.

WORSE customer service Ive ever received from a company like this. They los the title of one of the vehicles I purchased from them and they werent going to give me a replacement. Furthermore their agents are rude and wont give you a solution for situations like this !!!! Good luck with them....

Bought a vehicle AS IS and now they are refusing to complete the sale. Very unprofessional auction that must learn how to do business first, instead of hiding behind their lame excuses. Also, their dealer services will never pick up, even after I left several messages.

The absolute worst customer service ever. Brought a few cars there to be sold they never put the information in the system, they charged me over $500 of no sale fees. Your auction in Clearwater is the best.
