Overall, its just ok. But given the chance to shop elsewhere, I do. The meat/seafood department is not good at all. Very common selection. When I asked the person behind the counter to remove the silverback from my ribs, they looked at me confused and went to ask someone else what they should do. And as I watched this persons superior make the same confused face, I knew I was out of luck. The person came back and said, "Im sorry. Im only a cutter." I had to have themselves repeat themselves. So, they are NOT butchers. Theyre "cutters". Next, the coffee aisle is in need of some serious attention. If you want to buy coffee that is not ground and you want to grind it there; DONT! There are no means to open a bag of coffee and more than likely youll only wind up scattering the beans all over if you succeed in opening the bag. If you actually get that far and still want to grind in the store; you might want to change your mind. The machine used to grind coffee is dirty. Ive never seen it clean or be cleaned. The shelf around the machine is dirty and gross. Its a shame that this store lets this aisle get this way and stay that way.

This the cleanest grocery store Ive ever been in! Ive shopped here a lot over the years as its my moms local store. Im visiting her this week and it was stunning to see how clean the place is, both inside and outside. Grocery store managers in Connecticut (where I now live) should tour this place and see how sparkling an older store can look. Shelves are always neatly stocked, too, and staff is friendly.

75th & Janes Jewel Osco -- Everyone was very helpful. I dont think I could keep my temper even very long with parents turning their children loose in the store like most of them do. I have seen kids carrying toys around, kissing them and then shoving them on a shelf far away from where they belong and telling them bye. I really feel sorry for your employees!

I went there to pick up my R.X. I have just moved to this area, I was there a week ago to change my address, but I was told it is already in the system and there is no need to change anything, when I pick up today, my old address was still on it, what does it take yo change my address, msybe I need to go to snother jewel osco to do thay.

The store is very expensive, but the quality and service of the staff is incredible. They have a coin machine in case anyone lives in apartment with quarter only laundry facilities. In Chicago, this is the place to go to buy your meat and poultry products. Most of everything else can be obtained cheaper at Food 4 Less in Bolingbrook

Jewel is always a good place to shop, them pretty much meet all of my needs, there prices on the fruit is a bit much so I may go elsewhere for my fresh fruit, and their apples are not always sweet, which is a disappointment since I pay so much for the golden delicious apples, but otherwise I still shop here.

PROBABLY THE WORST RUN JEWEL I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. ASKED THE BAGGER TO BAG MILK, HE HUFFED AND PUFFED AND YELLED AT ME, "YOU KNOW THEY HAVE HANDLES", THEN THREW INTO BAG! NIGHT STAFF IS ESPECIALLY BAD. WOULD BE NICE TO SEE A TRUE MANAGER AROUND AT NIGHT JUST TO SEE HOW THIS JEWEL OPERATES.

The store is nearby where we live. They normally have the items they advertise on sale in stock. The employees we have encountered are nice and helpful. They dont keep moving there items around to different sections; this makes it easier to run in and grab what you need.

I didnt like the deli counter because they dont pay attention to any of the customers who are waiting.. For the 2 pc. fried or grilled chicken, they put 2 little pieces and didnt even give me a box, like always. I hated the service that they gave me yesterday..

Long lines and only 2 regular registers open. They did have 4 express lanes open, but it was slow. This is the 2nd time they only had 2 regular registers open. The other time there was only 2 express open. Not very happy with this location.

Like this Jewel a lot. Cashiers are very friendly. Baggers need additional training. Putting bread and boxes together is not very smart. Overall, can get some decent deals.
