LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER!!! My regular groomer was booked so I decided to take my dog here since I pretty much do all my pet shopping at Petco. I brought him in because he had some matts under his belly that needed attention as well as some poop that was stuck in the hair around his rear end. Nothing major, just a bath and a brush out. I dropped him off, an hour later he was ready for pick up. I paid, picked him up and on the way home noticed he was trying to scratch at his rear end. When I took a look, the poop was still there and the matts as well. I called Petco when I got home and spoke with the grooming dept who told me to speak with the manager on duty. I was put through to a girl named Michelle. When I spoke with her she said - " You must have been mistaken because it is Petcos policy that NO dog leaves with poop stuck to his butt." She then told me that he must have "pooped himself on the ride home" and "he didnt have any matts, that I was making it up". She started to raise her voice and get uppity with me, saying she was in charge, when I asked to speak to someone else. Then she hung up on me. Really Petco?!?! This is acceptable customer service? Absolutely the WORST experience ever and will NEVER invest ANY more of my time or money shopping with Petco because of this awful experience. In no way should she be in a management position. They have lost a loyal customer. Now I have to pay to have someone else groom him the way they should have in the first place. Sooooo NOT okay. Do yourself and your pet a favor and DO NOT take him/her here to get groomed unless you like wasting money and time.

ADOPT A GUINEA PIG!! Ive had both good and bad experiences at this Petco. Sometimes the employees are very uninviting and standoffish whereas other times they are very friendly and helpful. I guess it just depends on who is working that day. However, I have a suggestion if you are looking for a guinea pig. Always ask to adopt before looking at the pigs at the front of the store. Lastime I went into the store there were two pigs in the back that were up for adoption and need good homes yet you wouldnt know they were there unless you asked. I got a great pig that is the most friendly pig Ive ever had. :)

Rude staff including mgr. who cares more about feeding birds than helping customers. Check out person always the same rude piece of crap person Id love to smack in the face with a bag of dog poop, SHES SO RUDE. Stores in disarray, had to climb up cart to get bag of dog food. Crappiest pet store Ive ever been to HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT

The manager was a dick. Trying to my dog groomed it was like pulling teeth. And kept trying to give me style advice on my dogs cut. Basically said he wouldnt do what I wanted even though it was basic and he didnt like that look. Vibe was super negative seemed more like a the guy was all over the place. Not personable.

great new store layout! easy to find everything. prices a little high but the employees are really friendly and ron is super knowledgeable about dog food! always well stocked too and carry lots of brands and dont treat you like a pariah if you buy more inexpensive dog food like boutique pet stores do. :)

I was here last week, and would like to thank the staff for helping me get exactly what I needed. I asked one of the employees here and he was extremely knowledgeable on the product I was looking for. They also have the cutest cats up for adoption here and wish I could take all of them!!

Nice check out people but staff not as helpful as Centinella Feed where they help you lift heavy bags and help you take heavy things out to your car. The staff is very nice. It just appears that the corporate culture here is different in terms of what they offer the customers.

They dont even answer the phone. And when they finally did, they transferred me to grooming. When I asked my question the lady scoffed at me for asking her because she was a groomer. Its almost like theyre point is to go out of business... They will never get my $$$

Good selection of products here. Staff is somewhat helpful, though not always knowledgeable when it comes to questions. Prices are a little steep due to the neighborhood it sits in.
