If I had to describe this in one word it would be: Disappointing Hi Im Honest Reviews4U and my goal is to tell the honest truth about things. 1. MANAGEMENT: This Meijer store is very VERY poorly managed, if you see a ad IN STORE that says buy $10 of cereal and get a free bowl...DONT EVEN TRY IT, they will have to call the manager and they will have to see the ad for themselves AND THEN you can get one, Im not even going to talk about buy 2 get 1 free! 2. SECURITY: This store has a horrible security system, I see many people get stopped going through the scanner, and they have to search their ENTIRE CART, this has happened to me SEVERAL TIMES, then they look through your ENTIRE RECEIPT! It will will take at least 15 Minutes before they FINALLY let you go! 3. EMPLOYEES: This is where the store REALLY GOES DOWNHILL, I was recently there looking at a Chromebook (Which by the way, is their ENTIRE COMPUTER SELECTION) and I was seeing how much RAM it had, how much space, and then a worker comes over to me and tells me that they are ONLY FOR DISPLAY! I mean REALLY?!?! If you want to know ANYTHING about it you would have to look up that EXACT MODEL and go into the specs since they only tell you its price!! 4. SELECTION: This is where I begin to cry...this store will only have ONE BRAND OF SOMETHING!!! You want black pants? Well guess what this is the ONLY BRAND WE HAVE! Want dress shoes? WELL WE ONLY HAVE DR. SCHOLLS!!! And their tech/art/toy/hardware/EVERYTHING EXCEPT FOOD selection is TINY!!! They just now are selling PS VRs, only 5 MONTHS LATER!! And they werent just out of stock...ooh no, they didnt even have the price tag there!! 5. CLEANLINESS: Honestly, this is the only good thing about this store is that it is clean...and I dont have much to say about that... I WOULD TAKE WALMART ANY DAY!!

As usual, brought my own reusable grocery bags only to receive sighs and eye-rolls over how difficult it is for cashier to fill reusable bags over plastic bags. Then he felt it necessary to mansplain that recycling plastic is too big a business for plastic bags ever to be illegal here as they are in some states & other countries. Customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable over trying to be a responsible consumer!

I stopped in to grab some things while on the road and unfortunately they didnt have what I needed (out of stock). Although I was disappointed in that regard, I did notice how this Meijer was a lot nicer inside than the ones in my area. It was open, clean, had nice lighting, and had up-to-date displays. Wish the one near me was like this one! (Minus not having what I need, of course!)

I shop at Meijer stores all over Michigan. By far the best staffed Meijer store that I have been to. Always able to get assistance when needed, friendly employees who are working hard instead of standing around- like you see at most Walmart stores. The store is clean and roomy.

the customer service is great someone reseted out can machine and wiped the money while unfilling it when whe told him he came out did not fight apologized and said just go to customer service customer service was really nice and didnt need proof just needed the persons name

When needed manager assistance, it felt like I was a bother and he did not want to help me. Then once I finally got help I waited in line for over half an hour with not even at greeting at checkout!

So damn expensive, went to buy a printer the wanted $99.99.... took out my cell and checked Amazon, same printer next day air to my home for $80.20 stay away from this "affordable" store!!!

The Meijer in Manistee is great, the wait isnt nearly as long as Traverse City on 31 and the people are not half as rude as TC. Great selections and produce is fresh.
