STAY AWAY FROM KRISTEN!! We came to trade in our Toyota for another gently used Toyota. We had a max monthly price in mind and the salesperson KRISTEN was rude and pushy from the get go. We said how we wanted to buy slightly used and she kept telling us NO you want to get a new one. I know salespeople can be pushy but she was just OUT OF LINE. Not to mention her personal appearance and hygiene were in disarray; no offense but I wanted to roll down the window when we took a test drive because I could smell her breath from the back seat. If youre working with the public your appearance and personality needs to be on point. During the test drive she started degrading the car hauling company that was delivering their cars. I then told her my fiance actually works for that company and she said well they can still be idiots sometimes. Very rude! My friend and I said at that point we wouldnt want to do our sale with her cause we didnt like how unprofessional and outlandish she was. ..WE SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH THAT because after the test drive we went inside and discussed the usual business and then she HAND WROTE AN INFORMAL CONTRACT saying wed buy the car for our max price if she can argue it down with her boss. We laughed it off thinking we got it for our price and signed it. We then hear her laughing in the office with her boss and she comes back out to us saying we cant get it for that price but she ran the credit and basically told us how would we ever think wed get the car for that price without putting any $ down. We had told her from the beginning no money down, trading in the car we wanted and our max payment! Our credit is impeccable, just like we told her, SO WHY WOULD SHE RUN THE CREDIT REPORT KNOWING HER BOSS ALREADY SAID MONEY NEEDS TO BE PUT DOWN?! Above that annoyance was how much of a HUGE B**** she turned into once we said we will look elsewhere if we cant get what we are asking for. She started huffing and puffing and aggressively snatching the paperwork in front of us and the ipad. At one point she interrupted us grabbing the sides of her head and raising her voice saying ARE YOU GOING TO LET ME TALK? ! We were both speechless. We had never been talked to before like that and especially not by an employee trying to sell us something. After she yelled she stood up and leaned over the table at my friends face yelling about the sale and then had the audacity to tell US to calm down! We immediately checked her telling her she needed to calm down cause we ARE the ones getting yelled at and we ARENT the ones leaning over the table in her face. We told her we arent doing business with her and without another word she agressively snatched up all the paperwork, along with her jacket, and stomped away from us without so much as even apologizing that we couldnt complete a sale today. DOES SHE THINK WED EVER COME BACK OR REFER THEM TO OUR FRIENDS/FAMILY AFTER THAT TREATMENT?? She is a reflection of Planet Toyota and Im sure we are not the only customers that have been verbally assaulted by her. She did say she just moved from the Toyota and Riverside so maybe thats why this Toyota dealership has decent reviews. THEIR REVIEWS ARE ABOUT TO PLUNGE IF THEY KEEP KRISTEN EMPLOYED THERE UNLESS SHE CHANGES HER ATTITUDE. After Kristen stormed away from us we couldnt even leave cause she still had our keys. 2 other members of management came to our table, Josh and Risto, and both were pretty friendly. Risto attempted to salvage whatever he could of us buying from them but Kristen had done far too much damage and we generously denied his offer. He was still very pleasant after we denied furthering any business there (WHICH KRISTEN NEEDS TO TAKE NOTES FROM HIM AS THAT IS HOW YOU TREAT POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS) Kristen had no clue whether we would come back another day to put money down on the car we wanted or purchase another car but her OUT OF LINE DEMEANOR ruined us doing business here. SHE SHOULD SEEK ANOTHER CAREER NOT WORKING WITH PEOPLE!!!

Went to Planet Toyota to have my car looked at after hydroplaning and going into a ditch, resulting in the airbag light coming on. They agreed to attempt to clear the code and look at the car structurally to make sure everything was okay. Once they took the car back they determined it was structurally fine but because one of the codes wouldnt clear the service advisor (Nick Reid) tried to charge me a 125$ diagnostic fee which I refused. Even though they wanted to charge diagnostic, they said they had to do further diagnostic to determine what was actually wrong with it (another 250$) and that we were probably looking at needing to replace the computer or the seat sensor (500$ or 300$) coming to around 900-1000$. After I decided to take the car home I did my own research and found that Toyota designed the car such that in the event of a rear collision, the airbag light would come on so that the weight sensor in the seat would simply be recalibrated (This was made clear by official Toyota documentation available to the technician). After multiple calls back and forth to set up an appointment (very few were returned) I took it to Planet and told them to do the calibration. They told me it would be 62$ with no guarantee it would fix the car. It did. I have no idea why the technician tried to sell me 1000$ worth of parts and labor when the actual fix was a simple recalibration that took 10 minutes. To top it all off, on my second visit I went back in the shop (which is allowed here) to see the technician do the recalibration because at this point I wasnt 100% trusting. I was shooed out of the shop very rudely near the end under the excuse that [Nicks] manager was asking why we were back there. The car is fixed 62$ dollars later, but without my own research, I would be looking at a 1000$ bill. Unacceptable. Would not recommend to anyone.

2007 Toyota Tacoma My father had work done in early December 2013. After the work was complete, he noticed a bump on the floor board of the passenger side seating area. We inquired what this "lump" was and if the vehicle was safe to drive. Technicians believed the vehicle was safe and have yet to confirm (after several phone calls to the service director) what this bump is and why its there (was not noticed before service). Im disappointed in how the director has been dodging my phone calls even after secretaries assured me that he would call "that day". Summary of the last few months: 12/12/2013 Initial work done 12/28/13 Returned to dealership to inquire about bump in cabin and was told to come back on 12/30/13 12/30/13 Returned to dealership to inquire with service director. He would call technicians and compare models to observe if this dent/bump was present on similar vehicles. Called in January - left message for service director - no response Called in February - "still working on it" no follow up Called on Monday March 3rd, 2013 - "will call you back later today, definitely" no call back that day. Today - 3/6/2014 Still waiting to hear a response. I recently purchased a new minivan at this facility and Im wondering if I will be returning there for my vehicle (still under warranty).
