Honestly, this was by far the best Honda I had worked with. It was a wonderful, painless experience. Very personable salesman, Dave, whom I as able to text, call, email after hours to ask questions and even negotiate my final deal. I was able to go on as long or short of a test drive as I wanted and the car had plenty of gas (things that are often taken for granted). The sales manager didnt just stay in his office and speak secretly to the salesman, he came out offered to negotiate on price and even said that if this isnt the car I am looking for that he would search for one in auction for me. I wasnt sold immediately on the car and I wanted to look at other dealers which they completely understood and werent pushy about making the deal. When I had gone to see other dealers it was awful. They had high nonnegotiable prices, short side streets to test drive on, no gas in the car, a flip chart to explain why this is the better way to buy a car (if it was better, they wouldnt have to convince you), and on top of it all, one of the cars I went to see had a broken tail light. To this day, no matter how many times I explain how horrible my experience was the Executive Honda of Wallingford still ask if Im interested in the car and to fill out surveys for them. It was after that horrible experience looking at cars elsewhere that I realized I would rather give my business to the Honda that had the better business practices. Not to mention I got a great deal on a car that I look forward to driving everyday! Additional note, Sullivan Honda of Torrington didnt just stop once I had bought the car. The salesman I worked with even followed up with me a few days later to make sure everything was running smoothly and if I had any questions or concerns. He went above and beyond all expectations. I would 100% recommend others to buy their future Honda from Sullivan Honda of Torrington.

This was my third dealership in a week in a quest for a "new" to me, reasonably priced car. Initially I was put off by the fact that there was not much room to negotiate price. After visiting ALfano and Crowley I realized why. There is really, no comparison. The Honda waranty and service make dealing with other dealerships a no-brainer. While I had diligently done my research on line, looking at dealership ratings, car reliability, safety and service, Sullivan came out on top consistantly. I drove both new cars and used Hondas and found that the CIvic was solid, reliable and better driving than the new Nissan Versa, the Hyundai Accent and the Kia Forte (all with good ratings on the web). I now had the extreme pleasure of dealing with Mario Daniele (salesperson) who made the process not only painless, but enjoyable. He did not become the typical pushy car salesman but instead took his time to answer questions and support my decision to eventually buy a 2012 Certified CIvic. He was abley assisted by Brandon the internet service manager and the Head of the Service Dept. I highly reccomend Sullivan Honda as a dealership. I had been reccomended to go there by a friend whos family has purchased 12 Hondas from them over the years. I guess that proves that Sullivan really does go above and beyond. I am very pleased with my "new" Honda and Sullivan.

Excellent and honest service, no bologna, very relaxed sales experience! This is an excellent dealership, with no pressure and will change the way you view buying a car. You dont need to come into this dealership with armor ready to fight off salesmen. They are friendly, relaxed, enthusiastic, and will work with you and do it happily. We traveled an hour just to get our truck from Sullivan Honda because the service was so good and I felt they were honest. I spoke to other dealerships and the sales people were apathetic, uncaring, unreliable and ready to go home. I knew that with Sullivan Honda they would work with us and be there for support even after the transaction was complete. Other dealers weve dealt with take your money and say adios. Real pros at this dealership, go here you will not be sorry!! If you live far it is worth the trip, customer service is priceless. Chris Brennan is a really great salesmen with the enthusiasm, honesty, and communication you want. Go ask for him Wes Tanner is very patient and communicative - I probably drove him nuts, but you couldnt even tell. That is pro service.

We recently had our daughters Honda CRV serviced for recall issues at Sullivan Honda in Torrington. Nelson in the service department was extremely helpful and understanding. Our daughter is in a Residency program in Maryland with very little personal time available to address any problems. The CRV she drives was once our leased vehicle that we bought out and passed on to her. It is important to note that we did not purchase the vehicle from Sullivan but that did not deter them from providing us with the absolute best service possible. In Maryland, our daughter had been told that her entire AC compressor needed to be replaced, ( a rather large repair bill), when in fact it was just the clutch mechanism. Additionally the vehicle was on the recall for the air bag deployment part. We were able to save money, insure the vehicle was safe and return it to her within just a few weeks, (waiting list for airbag parts). All service was performed in a timely manner with the utmost courtesy and attentiveness. I recommend the Sullivan team without reservation.

Torrington Honda is excellent and defines the true meaning of "service" which is not easy to find in the U.S. these days. The service team and manager care about the customer and work together to figure out what the issue is with your vehicle and they arrive at a solution that fixes it. They fixed an issue that was extremely difficult to diagnose with my vehicle which was towed to their shop and were not satisfied with the first resolution they found and fixed so the service manager and a service technician with a 23 year history of repairing Hondas compared the service records overnight after discovering the first issue and found the core issue which was causing the vehicle to stall in traffic. This vehicle had a history of the same issue from the previous owners and had been serviced in other Honda service locations without a resolution. I highly recommend Torrington Honda and will continue to recommend their services and their dealership. Thank you for going above and beyond. A loyal customer forever. ML

I purchased a used Mini Cooper that I had found online as a part of the dealerships inventory. I inquired about it on a Sunday (dealership is closed), thinking Id get a call back on Monday. To my surprise, I got a call on Sunday, from Dave. He was great, talked about the car, the condition. I expressed a lot of interest, and sight unseen put a deposit down. Was a great value compared to some other used Minis I had looked into. Through the week Dave and I hammered out the details, going through pricing was simple, and logical. The list price of the car was the price I paid, no haggling, no back and forth with a manager with prices that dont add up. Clear cut break down, of every dollar in the overall cost (taxes, dealer fees, titling, etc.). It was great, and with that all set up it made checking out the vehicle and test driving it a breeze. Car was in excellent condition, better than the internet ad said it would be. And I drove off the lot with the car i wanted at a great price, cant beat that!
