I usually love Lazy Boy. Ive purchased numerous items from them. I recently purchased the Kennedy sofa and Talbot recliner. I had this recliner delivered 2 weeks ago in black leather. Found a defect in that the binding on the left arm was sewn crookedly causing puckering. Called customer service to let them know I wanted to return the chair and get one that was not defective. Been on hold with rude rep who talks over me and told me they would only replace the arm, not the chair. Im guessing the color variation would stand out worse than the sewing defect. Have been on hold for a very long time now waiting to speak with a manager. Long time customer, very disappointed in Lazy Boy today. Awful experience! Hoping they step up and replace the chair as they should for any good customer who gets defective furniture delivered. I talked to their corporate office in Michigan and they basically told me I was at their mercy. Buyer beware. So disappointing!

After they sell you, they screw you. 2 out of 5 items arrived at our house defective. I had to send them back. Then I had to fight (literally argue with them) to get a replacement couch out the next day because we had to get rid of our old couch to make room for the new couches. Since 1 out of 2 of the new couches was defective, we had no room for the old couch anymore. The other defective item hasnt been replaced yet - its been over a month. Whenever I call to find out whats going on they say theyll call me back... and then they dont. The manager there does not return phone calls, or no one is leaving her messages. If you can, avoid doing business with this location. We had a good experience when we lived in LA and ordered from the La-Z-Boy up there. Im not sure if the San Marcos La-Z-Boy is better, but I imagine it cant be worse.

Zero stars. Just was there with husband trying to see their sofa sleepers. Nobody took care of us, some guy said hello but didnt ask if we been helped, or be there with you soon. Another chick passed right besides us to take care of other people who enter the store after us. Same thing, No be right there with you or how can I help you. So we left and you bet we never ever will step foot on it. Doesnt matter how many Brooke Shields posters they have. Husband said I am a little bit ruthless but I dont think so. We are returning to another store in Miramar rd. Were the salesman who took care of us right away looked like he cared, and frankly was selling us a great product and was very informative about it. I really dont want to buy on a place were not being acknowledged.

Wasted my time waiting around for a person that could sell me a chair. They are not cheap and I would have thought someone wanted the commission. Guess not as we waited for 15 minutes before we said enough is enough. Do not waste your time where management is so bad. other businesses want your business.

Watch out for La-Z-Boy furniture. They will rip you off. The fabric protection plan they sold me does not exist. Fine, but now, La-Z-Boy will not give me a refund. $79.00 lost to La-Z-Boys unscrupulous business practices.
