I normally go to this discount tire. On this occasion Jose said he would honor a competitors price over the phone. When I arrived they would not honor the price quoted. Sam stepped in and got it as close to the quote as he could. I waited for the tires to come in for my car and one for my tractor. The tire for my tractor they said was thrown away by mistake. So now another problem again Sam stepped in and offered to fix old tire while I wait on tractor tire to be ordered again. His guy just threw it back in my car without doing anything. I came back frustrated and again Sam stepped in to smooth it over. This is my third time up now for the car and tractor which should have been done in a single visit. It became clear that an employee has been stealing tires. Sam appologized and without throwing anyone under the bus took over my order completely. Today he personally installed my tractor tire with a few difficulties but refused to give up. I almost gave up on discount tire. Sam single handedly saved the day on each trip which totalled 5 trips for one order. The overall staff has gone downhill. The attitude is much different from the last time I had tires done from this location. If not for Sam carrying the weight for the rest of the staff; I would be leaving a terrible review. I cannot say enough how bad it was this time. I also cant say enough how impressed I am with Sam his intedrity, customer service and leadership. He really took the failures of his team on his shoulders and with class. He did not blame others he simply did the job they wouldnt on 5 occasions trying to complete my order. The staff has really gone down hill and so has the attitude. Sam shined like a star and a true pro. Because of him alone, I will give discount my business again. But I will ask for Sam. Discount tire should recognize Sam and use him as an example to the others. The level integrity he showed I Noticed and recognize. I will be offended if discount tire fails to recognize Sam as the star and leader he truly is. Thank you Joshua

Having bought a total of 12 sets of tires and 4 sets of custom rims since they have opened, I still get no respect from these guys. Event 1. They refused to patch a run flat tire with a nail in it ( not in the sidewall, just the regular street contact part ) and said I had buy a new one. I called NTB, no prob. patched it right up for $26 bucks. A savings of $230. Event 2. When resetting my tire pressure sensor on the dash readout they changed my MPH to K/PH, so when I took off it looked like I was going 70 at 40 MPH. Not knowing what it was I turned back and instead of the guy taking it back to look at it, he threw his hands up and kept saying over and over " sir, we dont guarantee speedometers". After 4 times of that he finally took the keys and figured out the simple fix for the simple mistake. That is terrible way to treat a customer. Just take the damn car back and take a look, thats all I asked. Oh and during the service of the car, which is a Corvette with chrome rims, they were putting the lead balance weights on the outside of the rim until I stopped them. You dont put ugly lead weights on the outside when the weights for inside of the wheel are just as easily done, and definitely not on a Vette with chrome rims- idiots. Event 3. On my Jeep, I took it in and asked for my free rotation and balance. They said I didnt need to rebalance everytime and like a fool I let them talk me out of it. Sure enough the next day I get out on the highway and the steering is shaking. I went back and asked if the manager was on duty to tell him his guys are talking people out of balancing to save themselves time, but instead costed me another hour and a 2nd day of sitting there. His reply was, well we are all managers.. Therein lies your problem Discount Tire. You dont have anyone to oversee the overseers. Obama, we need a Discount Tire Czar. My biz will be going to NTB next time around. Ive been going to D/T for so many years I dont even know, but these guys single handedly screwed up with my biz.

I came in for a nail repair and rotation for my wifes car. I waited 2 hours for the work to be done and when I got home that night the same tire that had a nail was in the same spot with the same nail. Not only did they not do the rotation but I specifically asked the attendent if he fixed the nail and he confirmed before I left. I came back the very next morning, waited 45 minutes just to find out that nobody had even touched my wifes vehicle. After they finally started, they told me the tire was unrepairable and for my wait they would give me a free tire. They didnt have my original match so they stuck me with a mis-match tire. Although, I qppreciate the free tire, I am more concerned with the fact that they lied and didnt do the work. This is my wifes car and my children ride in it everyday. I have traded and referred friends to Richard, the store manger for 20 years. I followed him over from the Mcknney store. He has lost my business and referrals for good.

Worst experience imaginable. In December 2016 I purchased 4 new tires for my SUV. They sell you on the idea that you can bring your car in for free tire rotations every 5k miles. Today 05/25/17 I called to schedule an appointment in the early morning hours and they gave me a 4:30 appointment. My wife arrived on time and they told her it would be 45 minute wait even though we had an appt. They said that because of the holiday weekend coming up they had more business than usual. After 45 minute wait, still nothing, my wife asked how much longer and they said maybe 3-4 more cars in front of her. My wife got tired of waiting and asked for the keys back, they acted like they didnt care since they were doing the tire rotation for "free" I guess we werent valuable enough that they had us wait 45 minutes for nothing. Whats the point of an appointment if you have to wait such a long time.... Not even at the Drs. Shame on them!!!!

Ive bought tires at this location since I moved here in the fall of 2014. I bought 4 new tires in the spring and had replacements done prior to that. Stayed with this establishment because of the cost... $82 with warranty per tire. This morning i showed up early and was third in line. First big problem is they wanted to charge me $113 per tire with warranty. I had them look over my history and explain why such a raise in prices. They tried to tell me since tires are petroleum based that the cost has increased, which is ridiculous because petroleum value is way down currently. They got price per tire down to $102. My biggest problem is how long the completion time they told me. 3rd in line and it will take around 90 minutes. I got here early to get in and out. Very upsetting... Miss my discount tire in Waxahachie, TX. Id rather go to Firestone and most likely will from this point on.
