Our sales experience for a new washer was pleasant enough, and the delivery went smoothly as well. But the GE profile (had to go with the top loading model because our laundry room is too narrow to leave the front door open all the time to avoid mildew growth) machine is AWFUL (also hate my GE profile dishwasher BTW). Because of the energy efficiency theres not enough water to cover the clothes so they actually come out dry and the wet ones are still stained. Therefore I have to do smaller loads and double the soap which results in twice as many loads and quadruple the amount of soap- so much for energy efficiency. I called customer service who acted like she was bending over backwards but, after several days of my follow up, she essentially told me to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent a repair man who asked me to show him how I do a load of laundry (seriously?!?! Im in my 30s!!!). I threw in 3 bath towels and 2 hand towels and lowered the water level to medium so we didnt have to wait forever for a full tub (only 1/3 of the tub fills with water on the highest setting). He told me that I should set it on super for that size load. Are you kidding me? You just finished telling me I could wash a king sized comforter but 5 towels is a super load? He then told me that the owners manual explained it which Snow Brothers never provided with the machine. Still waiting 9 months later. I followed the pictures on the lid of the machine but the repair man said the manual is "not more accurate but better"- whatever that means. All this to say that Snow Brothers did not stand behind the product they sold us or care enough to ensure a happy customer by simply giving me a manual. And I cant believe how ridiculous is a sales manager who posts her own 5 star review. The internet is a perfect place to post realistic reviews since the only ones she admits to offering are those of pleased customers.

I am truly disappointed in Snow Bros. I not only purchased my refrigerator but also a range, microwave, and dishwasher. The refrigerator was delivered with a defect. I was promised prompt service to repair. First mistake - I paid for a new refrigerator. It should have been replaced without question. Rather, a week later a repairman came who said he could not repair unless I could prove to him that it was under warranty. I could not produce the slip in 10 min. (just moved in and not very organized) and he left and was quite rude. I was then promised by Snow Bros. that there usual repairman would actually wave the mileage and come to repair. Guess what. I needed a new part that would take 7-10 days. What? It will be 4 weeks this Friday - Memorial day weekend and I have no water or ice! I called Snow Bros. and reported my disgust with everything and demanded that my10 day old refrig be replaced. The woman I spoke to said that she would give the message to Jeff. One week later and no word from Jeff. If that is not enough, my stupidity for trusting Snow Bros. to deliver a washer and dryer sight unseen. Jeff described the washer as having a fabric softener dispenser. Wonderful. That clinched it. I am still looking for this so-called dispenser. Doesnt exist. Got the bait and switch routine. Bottom line - I am not a valued customer despite buying every appliance they sell. They value the dollar. They lost a good customer.
Unfortunately, The Appliance we purchased (GE Stove) Came with a broken convection oven fan. After one repair appointment, it was still not fixed. the second time we tried to get a repairman out, it took three different times of scheduling. After they came out the second time, the oven was still not operating correctly. Introduce the third time, and still no luck. I called Snow Brothers and explained this problem, of which they were able to replace with a new Profile oven. Now, Since Ive had it for three days, I notice scratches all over the top, the insulation lining (seal) on the oven is falling off, the over door is not closing correctly, and I notice scratches all of over the sides where it looks as if someone tried to install the door and scratched both sides of the stove door, and the sides of the stove itself. I am calling them again tomorrow to attempt to get another stove. This is ridiculous. I cant say anything about Snow Brothers, but unfortunately, the repair services they use are giving them a bad name- In addition to the delivery service that obviously damaged the new stove. They really need to reconsider their partner/eco-system for repair. They will be out of business soon because of it. I cant say anything negative about Snow Brothers. They have supported me in all the issues. However, the lack of scheduling, issues upon issues, and the time off I have had to take has pushed me over the limit with this company.
I called to order a replacement standalone Scotsman ice maker. Russ took the order, confirmed availability from the wholesaler, promised delivery a week later and said they would send out an installer to determine what would be needed for the installation. Russ said there was a fixed price for the installation. I told them that since they were replacing a similar model, all the water lines, drains and power should be the same, but they sent the installer anyhow. The installer sent out two men, anyhow, to provide an "estimate." which turned out to be about the quoted amount. Snow Bros. charged half the cost to my credit card at the time of the order, but the item was not delivered when promised. I had great difficulty reaching anyone who could explain why and was put on "permanent hold" several times. I finally got Russ on the line, who said he would look into it and call me back in 10 minutes. He also said he had not confirmed the order with the wholesaler until after he heard back from the installer and then had never received confirmation from the wholesaler. (In other words, his story was that he tried to confirm the order with the wholesaler five days after he charged my card.) Needless to say, Russ didnt call back as promised. I will cancel the order and get the machine from B&B, which is much more reliable.
Washing machine broke on Tuesday. Had out of town kids, grandkids coming on Fri. Big party on Sat; in your store on Wed afternoon; had a new washer delivered on Friday. Jeff Stewart was more than helpful; took the necessary time, knowledgeable of all the brands; made the decision easy and we feel positive with the purchase. Delivery was within the time committed; received a call ahead; and Kareem, I believe was his name understood the product, great with the installation and training, took his time and didnt rush through the delivery. No drop and gone tactic. Very pleased with this Snow Bros purchase. We have made numerous purchases and this is the reason we return without a lot of competitive shopping.
We wanted all new stainless appliances for our kitchen and have done business with Snow Brothers previously. They were very helpful in guiding our selection and their prices were competitive; they advised that they would support us if any problems arose. When our new range developed a problem within its first 60 days, they assisted us in securing a warranty replacement range from the manufacturer at no cost to us. We highly recommend Snow Brothers.
