I love these guys! !! Ive gone here 4 times in the recent months! I cant remember the names of the compassionate, honest,and understanding men that have helped me,and for that I apologize. They are helping me get through one of the toughest times in my life! They are compassionate, they listened to my reasoning regarding my interest of pawing my laptop for a loan, and he was so concerned with me ,in my personal situation ,that he loaned me EXACTLY what they would sell it at.....which means, the store would not have made a dollar of my product either way " besides the additional $2 dollars in interest for the loan!" That was my first experience. When I left I did my own Internet research and confirmed that I had been paid the top end of what my laptop is worth, and goes for used! I seen how much my laptop is worth brand new in the box. He had been honest with me ! My second time,I had a similar experience with another man!!!! When I left , I confirmed that what we had discussed was correct,and it was! 3rd,and 4rth time I visited,I started to feel like family,even though I was doing business with somebody new everytime! Im going to go pawn my laptop again,in 2 hours when they open! Ill be sure to remember the persons name today,so I can give credit where credit is do,and include them in my review later! So....great prices,honorable employees, great products, great location "located right off of I-696 and gratiot,only 2 miles from I-94,"fast service,convenient hours,......what more can I say. ? I highly recommend motor city pawnshop I love the fact you get a loan and its the same price as Id they were to buy it for mostly everything. I can see on certain things that will change in the near future but for the most part its same price if they buy or loan.. some places give u a low amount to pawn and more if you sell.. motor city is smart they understand most the money being made is by people pawning there stuff not selling.. thats why I always return to them. I have bought TVs xboxs and other stuff.. great prices.. if I had to complain about one Thing it would have to be jewelry the prices are a little high on that stuff.. also you need someone who knows what the loose stones are... we were in there the other day and she didnt know what half of them were she tried going off the card that had colors and told u what it could be.. the lady said she worked at a big name store I believe it was k jewelers.. she just needs a little bit of training but Yeah other then that this place is awesome.. and I will be there tomorrow to see what ya got in thats new..

If youre expecting something like "Pawn Stars", forget it. What a dump. Dirty, very crowded. Stand in a long line, waiting for one of the cashiers who each had 1 of seven partitioned "stations." Youre separated from the employees by thick plexiglass, just like a party store in a bad neighborhood. Security guard ever-present. Brought in a well known brand of bass guitar to sell, theyd never heard of it. Had to try to find it on some computer. Fiinally, a very low offer from which they wouldnt budge. Employees were courteous and friendly for the most part. Would I go back? What do you think? Everyone else gave 5 star reviews. Every single one. Perfect! A bit odd, dont you think?

Motor City Pawn is a Great place! Customer Service is great. You get the best amount of money for loans and pawns. I have been going there for years and every time walk out with a smile :). I have been going to motor city pawn since September 2011 and have always received great service. They always work with me when I need a loan or if Im running late on payments. Also love buying things from here. Everything works great like new and they have great deals. Every employee there have been awesome. I would recommend everyone use this pawn shop for any service needed. I will never use any other pawn shop other than this location.

I walked in to possibly look at an engagement ring because I heard good things about this place so I was ready to spend about $3,000 to $4,000 for something fairly nice and man was I shocked at the prices. I put 2 diamond rings in layaway with a $100 down payment and my total was only $1,100. I had so much left over to spend I bought a nice Bulova watch and TV. Great place! Thanks Wanda!

My experience with motor city has always been great. When i need cash fast there always here to help you, they are not a fake pawn shop like the tv show hardcore pawn there fake and rip offs motor city is not. if you want a loan there do there best to get you the most money for what you have and they have the cheapest prices on play stations xbox s there the best pawn brookers around.

I was always hesitant to visit a pawn broker. The internet was a pain, eBay killa! I had some items of value not in use. I headed up to the pawn shop. The wait wasnt bad. David provided excellent, speedy service and was very reasonable. I got more than I thought. I highly recommend you hold out in the line if you see David behind the glass. He hooked it up.
