Went here to shop for a simple 4 pack of stick butter and bread that I needed to make dinner. Apperantly, 2 of the items(not mentioned) were not able to be purchased through food stamps. The lady working the self check-out section was rude and refused to remove the items from my purchase list because i was supposedly being rude. Sorry, but I was in a serious hurry, and didnt talk soft enough for their "royalty". The assistant manager approached me in a rude manner and spoke to me condescendingly. After a short verbal trade off(I said nothing threatening nor was I posing any sort of threat towards anyone). I just wanted my butter, my bread, and my receipt, but this manager had to take it one step further and treaten to call the cops for trespassing if I ever returned. First off, I am a local resident who has been shopping at this specific facility for years and years and years. I have personally shopped there thousands of times and spent thousands of dollars worth on groceries throughout my life time. There was no compromising, no talking things out. This black manager was pulling a racial card by bringing up the fact that his wife was white. WTF? I dont want to hear that crap. This loser also took out his personal cellphone and began taking ILLEGAL pictures of me after I refused consent multiple times. From what I understand, that is punishable under law. This place used to be an Albertsons with great employees and great prices, but ever since Haggen took over, the employees have all changed, along with the attitude and the prices. Currently, I am being threatened with arrest if I ever return to shop at Haggen. This store is the closest store to my house, and is a must for me to be able to utilize. I do not pose a threat towards anybody or anything, especially when I am shopping here harmlessly with my child and/or my wife. Customer support over the phone was decent. I was told I would be contacted by the store director to work things out. I will continue to shop here because I have no other choice, and because some pathetic whiney a** 22 year old isnt going to stop me from giving this (otherwise awesome) food chain my money. Not because I have too. but because I need to, unfortunately

This store has not been as well stocked as it was before it switched to Haggens and then back to Albertsons. They are not just out of items but they simply do not even carry pretty typical items one would expect to find in a grocery store. They didt carry hot cider packets but they did carry Kurig cider (?) which seemed odd. They do not have frozen cranberries or fresh cranberries now (during the holiday season) but they had them a month ago (again- that is rather random) nor even a place suggesting they stock them but are out. They have been out of or not even stocked several other items the last two months- like Knorr chicken bouillon, sour cream, spice packets of cumin, and other things that all the other stores do carry. I dont know if they have plans to correct this problem but it would be nice to be able to shop there again. I resist going there anymore accept out of desperation as a last resort because a trip there most often turns into having to just go to another store. I need to be able to rely on the store because I simply dont have time to travel across town twice.

The store is just not the same as it was before it became Haggens. The checkout staff is friendly. Most of the same people that were there before it switch to Haggens but the staff in the deli seem like they hate their job or hate serving the people that are there to buy the food. Deli food is good but a smile goes a long way to making your customers feel good about their choice in feeding themselves and their families. There is one particular lady in there that walked off from a customer one day because he asked her for certain pieces of chicken very unprofessional of her and she never smiles or talks with the customers.. One night the Deli closed early and I asked one of the staff in the deli I thought you stayed open till 9 oclock and she was rather abrupt with saying were short handed with no smile just a frown or snarl. They took out the self checkouts which causes longer lines even in the 12 items or less line. Im glad that theyre back but they definitely are not the same as they was before Haggens moved in.

This is one sick place , Very racist workers , for example, the crazy people at ready chicken department . The place is full of creepy and trailer trash . Will never let my family and friends shop there. I wouldnt like them to go through pain and bad experience I went through . Nothing good about this supermarket, its way overpriced and not only that , very disrespectful workers . People rating this place five points must be working there. Dont be fooled . Why throw your money away when you can get the same items somewhere you are respected and pay way less . Check the price and shop happy in nice atmosphere away from these pythons . Evil people !!!!

This store is terrible since it switched from Albertsons. The prices are outrageous and the few items that are marked down still ring up at the regular price at the register. Even after bringing the price dependencies to the attention of management over a week later the items are still ringing up at the regular price and not the sale price! This is a perfect example of a company that grew way too fast. Thank goodness they kept the cashiers that have been there for years but Im disappointed in the managements ability to correct issues in a timely manner. WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS. Albertsons is back and things are much better. Good riddance to Hagens!

This Haggens location is an ex-Albertsons and sadly suffers because of it. Prices have risen and many areas of the store have missing product giving the location an empty feel. The staff are many of the same faces from Albertsons though which is nice. Theyre all friendly and professional and easily remember your face if youre in regularly. Sadly on that last point, Im not in so regularly any more as I save money now driving the extra few miles to their competitors.

Imagine a suburban grocery store, and voila--you have just pictured the Albertsons on Steilacoom Blvd. Its easy to access, the staff is pleasant and helpful, and Im always in and out rather quickly. All complaints I have are very minor and not worth noting. Will I be back? Yes, just as I have done at least twice a week for the past several years. People who write bad reviews of this place either have too much time on their hands or a blank up their blank.

I just downloaded the Just 4 U app and enjoy how it makes my list & I check it off as I go. Must enter your phone # at register to get sale prices. Be sure to check your receipt to make sue you really got the sale/just4U price. Almost always 1 or two are not entered correctly. If you leave the store & return for correction you can have wrong charged item for free up to $5. Otherwise they refund the difference. Get gas rewards too
