I like Safeway. The prices arent as good as at Fred Meyer, but this place seems to have a better selection of foods. Im on a pretty restrictive diet and this place has all the stuff I need. We use Bobs Red Mill foods in our cooking and this is where we go to get them. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. If you plan on turning left (south) onto Hwy 99 when you leave, exit the parking lot via the exit nearest the Safeway, on the side opposite the gas pumps. This will give you enough space to get over into the turn lane, which would be more difficult to do from any of the other entrances. This Safeway is situated in a little strip mall, with more stuff across the street. Its nice to go around the mall and get all the stuff I need, then do some grocery shopping just before I head home. When we need to run out and pick up one or two things for dinner, we go to Fred Meyer. That place has better prices on the things we buy most often. Its also a little bit closer to my house than Safeway is. When we do our regular grocery shopping for the week, though, we tend to come here. This is where we do our bulk shop because of the good discounts.

Cashiers are friendly. Deli could use a good thorough cleaning- the sandwich bar area is typically only partially stocked with the essential items needed for making a sandwich and employees always blame it on the shift before them. Starbucks employees are friendly and make consist drinks. Produce section is improving from past visits, but still has the lowest quality apples that Ive ever seen in a Washington grocery store. Bakery is always fully stocked and has cleaned up significantly in recent years. Meat department employees are helpful and friendly. Parking lot is constantly being littered with trash, but the younger employees in charge of bringing in carts are always outside picking up the trash. Kudos to the manager who did away with the "used car lot" on the far side of the parking lot.

I love safeway in general but this store is above par. Friendly, helpful employees has been my experience. Quality produce, love the deli, and now they even deliver. Havent used that service but there is a need. I think their prices are reasonable with a reliable quality in meats and produce which I cant say is true of two other grocery chains in the area.

The store is always clean and well-kept. A bit smaller than some of the other Safeway stores that Ive been too, but Im guessing its because its an older store. If you want to see whats hip these days with the kids, do your grocery shopping around 2:30p on a weekday. Thats when the local school kids swing by for a soda or snack on their way home from class :)

I really like our local Safeway store. Store staff are always kind and helpful. Produce is always fresh and they have great selection of meats and seafood. Plus, if I dont have time to go shopping the store has home delivery - just place my order online through their website and get if delivered the next day. Best grocery store in Battle Ground.

NEVER will I use this pharmacy!! In pain after just having a baby needed to fill 3 prescriptions I stood at the window for about 10min and NOT one person even acknowledged me. Mind you I was the only person at the drop off window, 2... Not one but TWO employees were there in front of me!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. A jackfruit caught my eye and I had to ask what it was as Id never seen one. The worker in produce offered to cut into one that was over ripe on one end so I could taste it. I bought the cut off half instead. Delicious!!

Always had a good experience here. :) I promised a lovely cashier I would also review Coca Cola: Life for her. Honestly, the stevia taste is strong enough to where you might as well just have a full on diet soda. :x

The Starbucks here is better than the cooperate Starbucks, the checkers during the day are kinda rude. Bakery has flies in the case, but overall its a good grocery store, night staff is great.

Always a line.aisles organized wierd. Ive never once been offered help except recently at the deli where you get help with liquor. The dude with tattoos is friendly despite his look.

I use to love walking into Safeway till.... I cant go in on produce end because of allergies. Now, I have to smell raw meat when I walk in for Starbucks. Move the RAW MEAT!!! Please
