This HEB is constantly out of items. Whether it be fresh tortillas to a promotional item, there is always something missing from my list. ( Today it was bakery rolls 4 for $1, queso on the chip aisle, and best buy bacon) The customer service is extremely lacking!!!! Not friendly at all. Cashiers make no convo and are rarely friendly. They are way more interested in gossiping with one another than asking the customer if they found everything ok. Management is seriously lacking at this place. We constantly have to bag our own groceries, which isnt a big deal, but its nice when someone is able to bag. The garden center is the only reason I gave 2 stars. The lady who maintains it is super nice and really cares. She loves her job!!! I wish I could say the same about the other employees. The Seguin store has their act together!!! That should be a model for this store.

Very clean fresh admisphere. Every employee was friendly and helpful. I checked out their Cosmetics- aisle and it was very nicely stocked. The pharmacy had plenty of options but they were scattered about. They had some cough and cold right by the entrance door , then by the center aisle by the pharmacy window and then two isles down from that. Finally found what I needed. Plenty of easy deals that I didnt Need were good Enough that I bought anyway. The deli section was great and I love that the entrance to the Food section brings you right to the prepared section such as premade sandwiches: cold cuts on fancy breads about $3 99. Even salads with cold cut up meats . Nice selection if healthy options. Over all you can even find a section of clothing tourist wear down the middle section of the store.

Plus? There is LESS of a selection here than at the other non HEB Plus locations here in New Braunfels! Just like the other HEB stores in this area, the cashiers and baggers for the most part, arent interested in giving you good service, just continuing their personal conversations while getting paid is just fine with them. If you are a white, non-hispanic middle class male then dont expect any of the usual and customary courtesy s; such as assistance with your groceries, satisfaction with products, etc. They also attract numerous scoff laws who park in the Handicap spots who do not have disabled license plates or a handicapped placket. Worst of all is the produce which is bruised, moldy or looks like its been harvested with a golf club.

As far as large grocery stores go, HEB is the best weve been to, although some things youd think would be routine (moist cat treats, for instance) are missing. HEB runs weekly specials and has the coupons with the products. They offer a "meal deal" that is a great bargain. The layout of the stores makes it inconvenient to just run in for a few groceries with household goods lining the entire front area of the store. HEB features a lawn and garden area, and pharmacy as well. The Texas specialty coffees (San Antonio, Houston, etc blends) are a major draw. In this heat of this area, you need to carry frozen good storage bags, as your food will have started to melt by the time you get out of the store.

Pretty good HEB that carries all of your groceries need. They also sell water shoes if you need a pair before going tubing on the river. They also sell waterproof speakers if you need one. However, I do believe that its a little overpriced. You want to bring your own tube instead of renting them? You can buy one here. Need a cooler? They have it. Pretty much your tubing central. By the entrance, they have a little machine that you could use to dry your phone, should it gets wet. When I was here, the line to pay wasnt long at all and they had five cashiers open, even though it was around 10 at night.

Poor curbside service. Was told all the groceries were checked and in the bag, but when I got home I found a few items were missing. When calling the store, I was told all the items were placed in the correct bins, so they should have made it to my car. Items were credited, but I still had to go back to anothe store to purchase them, again. It may work for small orders, but I wouldnt recommend this service for more than 10 items. They (or perhaps just this store) dont seem to be able to handle large orders. My order was $199. Be sure to check ALL the items before you leave.

I visited the bakery , produce , frozen foods , bread aisle and the chip aisle. I love the variety a fresh bread and pastries. The wide aisles make it easy to get around even when the store is somewhat crowded. But most of all I love the convenience of being able to get my gas for my vehicle and then my groceries, all easily obtained by exiting right off the freeway. And rarely do I have to wait 4 more than one or two people ahead of me in line for checkout. I used to go to the H-E-B on Walnut Bend but much prefer the Creekside store.

I went with my four brothers and dad, and we were on a mission to find ingredients to make astronaut surprise. One of the ingredients is tang the orange beverage powder. Upon spending numerous hours without help we still couldnt find any tang. We eventually gave up trying to get tang and settled for boring ole fruit punch. Lesson I learned today was to go to somewhere else if I want tang. Tang deserves recognition. God bless tang.

I love love love this HEB. After living in Houston for the last few years, I was used to dreading going grocery shopping due to virtually impossible to find parking and bumper to bumper shopping carts in the store. This one is large with an excellent selection, always has available parking, is never really packed even when its busy, and has courteous employees. And to top it all off, they have a river section!

Theres no denying that Im an HEB fan and this new store continues the long tradition of making customers first and the shopping experience enjoyable. The store is well lit with natural light during the day. The layout of the store is intuitive for the most part and there is a store layout plan on the corner of almost every aisle if you get lost. The employees are helpful and polite.

This new HEB is so awesome!! Has a great meat counter, wonderful quality & selection of produce, as well as other groceries. Has some bulk spice and other items.. Love coming here, even if the traffic is bad all the time. I dont know what Id do without an HEB. (actually, I do - its very frustrating having to shop at more than one grocery store to get all the items you need)

My checker was nice....however Checker Cab up to the next check out at the house person in line to come to Alpha Spa they were two of us ahead of you I dont appreciate not being selected as the next in line for the person who had all the stuff in her hands instead of the guy checking to see who is next in line he is automatically took the last person
