I am a very patient consumer, I understand that there are often long wait times and am very willing to do whats needed to have my problem solved. I had called AT&T earlier in the day to ask if I needed to have my name on the account to swap out the size of a SIM card, as my husbands was too large for his new phone. I work for my parents business part time, and the phones are under that account. They assured me I didnt, that if the rep asked we could just call the account holder, and that they could quickly swap it out at any AT&T store. Thats why I wasnt too worried when I was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait when I arrived and checked in at the store. They offered to text me when I was third in line (I started at 6th) and I gladly agreed. I popped over to Starbucks next door and ordered a coffee while I waited. After not hearing anything for about 20 minutes, I went back to AT&T to see the line hadnt moved at all. New customers were coming in, now 10 and 11 in line, and were being told it would be 15-20 minutes. The manager walked over to try to joke with us about customers being mad about wait times, which I found very inappropriate. At the one hour mark, I received the text message that I was now third in line. All told, we waited for an hour and a half to speak to a sales rep. They quickly told me the info Id gotten from the Customer Service line wasnt true, and there was nothing they could do to help me. I asked if I could provide any account info to prove we were associated with the line, as I was the one who set it up for the business and could corroborate everything listed in there. I even asked if we could call the account holder, something customer service told me would be totally fine. Nope, corporate policy, need the person whos name is on the account there in person. This is all info that I could have been given within 5 minutes of walking in the store. The combination of a wait that was completely nuts for such a small number of people in the store, in addition to terrible confusing customer service is quite possibly some of the worst service Ive received. It is no small shock that customers flock to alternatives when they are offered. I will be leaving AT&T at the end of the billing cycle for Project Fi.

Came in to dispute a charge that had accumulated over a few months AFTER our contract was done. The bill was for almost 300 dollars and when we went to speak to a representative he was rude and unprofessional and for every question we asked related to the bill and why we had it he said "I dont know" (his name is Maurice) and could not explain how after the phone being off for months we were still being charged and said that just because the contract was up didnt mean that they were going to stop charging us EVEN THOUGH the phone had no service. So I tried to dispute it with a pathetic excuse for a "manager" named Grey or Greg and was also rude and unprofessional towards me. I asked another employee to see the store managers business card as I was walking out and she went to "Grey" to ask for one. He refused and made me come and ask him and again refused to give me the card claiming to be the store manager (although another employee insured us he was not) Ive never in my life seen such unprofessional employees. No wonder you people have less than 3 stars. This place is a joke.

Wow, where do I start? Every single employee that I have come into contact with has been beyond incompetent. You sent us three separate bills in three days, so I came in to this store to get to the bottom of why this happened. The white guy with the knee brace (did not get his name) should honestly be fired ASAP. He could not answer a single question, lied to our face, and the only solution he had for us was dialing customer service and standing there (not sure if its arrogance, laziness, ignorance, or a combination of the three). Unfortunately, we cannot move on to a better company because of our contracts. The day we are released from AT&Ts tremendous incompetence will literally be the happiest day of my life.

Spent 1 hour trying to switch to the credit plan (not prepaid) They were not able to pool my CS. After 40 minutes they were able to pool it, but their app hanged. (which means another 20 minutes to pool CS). I asked can I do by my self on the internet and they said "yes". Actually it is not. I have to go to meet them once again. I expected better service from this company.

Im not even an AT&T customer but...I was thinking about switching from Verizon (which can be just as bad for my review).... reps are super slow. Enough chit chat about march madness and more work-y work-y. Wait times are a bit out of hand at this particular AT&T--so make yourself an appointment.

Asked about upgrading my phone to more memory. Got some bald dude with a horrible attitude. "Thatll be 700 bucks." Hmm. "Dont you want to look at my plan?" "It doesnt work that way." Got home, looked online and it works exactly that way you moron. Nice customer service.

Usually busy. Best to make am appointment if you dont want to chance waitting. Unfortunately they dont have a tech there to help with phone problems. Everything else they will try to assist you with.
