Been here for pet training (4 stars), pet grooming (3.5) and overall store prices (3 stars). I guess that comes out to an average of 3.5 but I round down because I think the prices overall are fair but still on the higher end. The services are pretty good and the people are nice but if I had the choice between here and other places, such as moochis (still lower end of quality but cheaper price) or trying some other place that does higher quality with a higher price I would try some other place. Thats not to say that in terms of convenience and because were all going to be at costco anyways, petsmart isnt worth the time and money. So try it out for an "a-ok" time.

I REALLY LIKE THE STAFF THERE THAT WORK IN THE STORE WHEN I WENT THERE THEY WOULD ALWAYS GREETED ME AS I ENTERED THE STORE AND IF I HAD MY DOG WITH ME THEY WOULD ALSO BE NICE TO HER TOO AND ITS NICE THAT THEY ALSO OFFER THE PETS SNACKS WHAT OTHER STORES WOULD LET YOU TAKE YOUR DOG IN THE STORE THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS WHEN I TOOK MY DOG TO THE GROOMERS SHE WOULD COME OUT SHAKING AND CRYING SO I STARTED TO TAKE HER TO PINKIES GROOMING ON MEDNIK AND FLORAL DR MY DOG LOVED IT THERE AND ITS NOT AS EXPENSIVE AS PETSMART AND SHE WOULD ALWAYS COME OUT OF THERE HAPPY AND WITH A BIG SMILE AND IF YOU CANT FIND PINKIES GO ANYWHERE ELSE EVEN PETCO IN MONTEBELLO

Dont call the store! Unless you want to be transferred 4 times and placed on hold for twenty minutes to speak with the Grooming department who are short with you and rude. Please note, I did press option 2 on the voice tree which was to be connected with the Grooming department, so maybe the phone system does not transfer to the correct extension and possibly, the employees dont know the correct extension to transfer you as well, but it was really frustrating. I only went to this grooming for one person who no longer works there, so Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

U stocked. Went there several times a week for 2 weeks for flea meds for cat. Torn empty boxes, disorganized. Nothing worse than having to ask for help twice from 4 employees standing around talking. When I asked how often they stock, they said whenever we decide to do it. And when the girl came back to see if they had what I needed in stock, she would pull out a box scan it and then toss it back on the shelf in any random spot. Seriously, slow and irritating.

I usually have a good experience with the Pick Rivera PetSmart so I decided to try the Alhambra location expecting the same good service. When I arrived for my appointment I was told the groomer had called in sick and I couldnt get my dog groomed. It wouldnt if been so bad if I was told ahead of time so Id be able to reschedule somewhere else but I wasnt told till I arrived.

Our trainer, Tessa, is fantastic! Even though class is over, she still remembers my pup and always comes by to say "Hi!" when were just shopping for treats. We took the puppy class, although my dog was inattentive and distracted by other dogs, she was able to pick up most of the tricks. Great class, but look for a coupon to get $10 off!

i bought fish here and they DIED the SAME day within 5 hours of getting them!! the worker told me the fish (gold fish) would be able to live in a fishbowl, but obviously NOT. also, both fish had a SCALE PROBLEM. There was this weird white stuff on their scales that i hadnt noticed when i bought them. =[[[[[[[[[

I love this place but the stuff is pricey. They need to move into a smaller building so they can lower the prices of things. The grooming salon is awesome. Ive never had a problem getting my cats nails clipped and she responds really well to the girl that bathes her.

The best service ever. Found a 4 week puppy and had no idea how to take care of her. So many questions. What food to feed her? shampoo to used? Just so confused but I want to thank Maria for answering all my concerns and her recommendations. THANK You Maria

They dont stock a lot of the items they sell. There are a number of time when I went there and found out they were out of the items I wanted. And very often, the boxes on the shelves have been opened and the items are missing from inside, very frustrating.

OMG! Fish! They have an amazing selection of fish. It is huge. Much larger than other PetSmarts! My favorite and the goldfish that have the big fat cheeks! They also have grooming services, birds and adoption. :)

Convenient location off Fremont. They always seem to have the dog food our dog likes on sale. Generally lots of parking available. Never really go on the weekends so it might be busier during that time.

This is where we take our dog to get groomed. I dont think we know of any other. I dont think we need to look for another. Were pretty happy with it despite the few problems weve encountered in the past.

some staff are helpful and others need to practice more friendlier service. as for the store, it is clean but it has a lot of variety on food options for pets, not so much for clothes.
