To someone who visits pet supply stores a lot, this has to be the worst one yet. The store looks and feels let go with dust bunnies lurking around each corner. Like any pet supply store, its hit or miss with the type of brand you prefer for your best friend but this place seems like it is not fully stocked to say the least. Aside from a small selection in brand, I have gone to numerous departments in the store to find essentials missing and only can imagine the stuff that is missing for other costumers pets. Aside from the quality of the store and their supplies, dog food is found cheaper in any other pet store including tractor supply. Grooming is another matter. My dogs are getting quite old but when I picked them up from the groomer departments, I got a really nasty attitude about my dogs health and was ridiculed. Giving me false diagnoses, they treated me like I abuse animals and even charged me extra with out any information regarding it. It felt as though they had other problems and they were taking it out on me. I pray that my dogs were treated well and will NOT put them in the hands of someone so spiteful again.

(I came to get 2 fish.) I spent 20 minutes searching for an employee, when I found one they said just a moment and disappeared. When I got another employee finally she wouldnt allow me to purchase the fish unless I had had a tank running already for 2 or more days. While I understand the logic of that, it is none of their business what I do with the fish I buy. If they die thats my fault and my problem. She asked for proof of my running tank! With that I left and do not intend on going back. I can buy my fish and supplies at some other companys store. I spent so much time in there for fish I didnt get to buy. All of this could have been avoided if they put up signs stating they would not sale unless a tank was previously running for a long period of time.

I was sold year old food. I didnt realize this until after my pet ferret wouldnt eat the food. I checked the bag and saw the date best used by June 2010 its been 13 months since the food has been fresh. I got off work late it was 9 and I called the store and they wouldnt stay for me to get there to get more food. My ferret had not eaten in 2 days and the employees could of cared less. The people they hire do not care about the animals that they supply food for. If it wasnt the only store in Jonesboro that carried ferret food I would not go anymore.

This Petco is great! Im there almost once a week with my.girlfriend so she can pick up food and whatnot for her bearded dragon, which she got there, and everyone is always super friendly and helpful. The people in their respective departments definitely seem to know what theyre talking about and have helped us both with fish and the aforementioned dragon in the past extensively. Ill definitely be going back when I have the time and the money to pick up another buddy sometime in the future!

The girl at the register was polite and the store actually had the mice I needed for my lizard, which they are usually out. The downside of the visit was seeing the ferrets sleeping on nasty bedding, one with its head a couple inches from a bunch of feces and the bowls and other things laying on their sides.

Nice store but most of their products are kinda high. They do have a wide selection of things for almost any kind of pet. They offer grooming and dog training! They also support local animal shelters which I really like!

Most outrageous prices i have ever paid. Got 100 large crickets for 18.00. That are a third the size of the crickets from walmart where 100 crickets are 3.00
