I rated this business a one star mainly due to the fact that I have to atleast put one star in order to for warn other potential customers of the absolute disrespectful "service" I received today. First, let me start off with saying that I am well aware that this is a family owned business and I am very aware that some days can be very busy and difficut to keep up with customers/ phone calls. That is why I was not upset with them not returning my phone calls after the first two times of trying to call and get parts ordered. I told multible times that they would call me back within a hour. Which never happened. After not receiving a phone call after the second phone call i called back a third time and spoke to the most disrespectful "professional" I have ever talked with. This woman not only treated me like a complete idiot but also continued to make rude remarks until I had to raise my voice and flat out say she was making herself come off as a rude individual. The funny part is that this phone call, if handled correctly, would of only of took a whole 5 minutes to complete my order. With myself and my wife both being in law enforcement and dealing with disrespectful people on a daily basis this type of service still came as a shock. They have now lost our service and any and all of our friends and employees that have motorcycles in the department. I will definitely spend the extra cash by using Alamo cycle plex if it means not having to deal with this kind of service again.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. We read the reviews after we witnessed for ourselves how absolutely unprofessional everyone in this dealership is. The service department is terrible. They never call you and never have any idea how long the maintenance work will take. They refuse to call you to give updates and its the same story and excuses any time we called for updates. They are rude to the extreme. And Im not just talking about the service department (Jeff) because they take the cake but also the owner and the finance person (Stacey)! After spending a grand on repairs you would think you deserve some type of friendly call to give you updates but that is not going to happen. Oh and if you call them they talk to you like you bare unimportant and are not worth explainations. The owner even hung up on my wife when she asked the service status. To anyone consideri.ng this dealer to buy new or to have repairs done, do not waste your money or time. This has been the worst encounter we have ever witnessed in a customer oriented business and we will never ever go back. We plan to share our experience with everyone.

I had let my 2000-750 Vulcan sit over the winter, and was having a hard time starting it. I called them up made an appointment, then trailered the bike there. I came back later that day to see what needed to be done, [I got no Call]. When I asked what needed to be done , I was told that the bike was in terrible shape and needed a major overhaul. This was ridicules, the bike had always been garage kept, covered and all scheduled maintenance had always been done by dealers, besides it only had 6000 miles on it. When I asked for the price I was told in excess of 3 grand. I couldnt believe my ears, when I ask what exactly needed to be replaced and what their hourly rate was, the jerk behind the counter said If I was going to wine about the price I could get that piece of junk off his lot. I had to go back to the maintenance bay and get the bike myself and put it back on the trailer. I took the bike to Alamo Cycle-Plex and a tune-up, carburetor kit and 300 bucks later I was cruising down the road again. I wouldnt cross the street to take a leak on the building if it was on fire.

I read the reviews on here before I visited the shop, although some were far from stellar, I figured Id give them a shot. Started with little purchases (oil filter, fork oil, etc.) just to feel them out. Everything seemed good so I came back for other items. Then I needed to order some parts. I could have ordered them online, but I like supporting local businesses. Ordering was easy, parts were right and came in on time. Time goes on, everything is peachy. I was having trouble changing out a tube (kept pinching it) and was at my wits end so I decided to let a shop do it. Called around, UC Kawasaki is the cheapest for the labor and the new tube. Beat the competition by $5 on labor and $6 on the tube. I drop the wheel off on Wednesday afternoon, I get a call Thursday that its ready. Perfect!!! Now this may not seem like a big deal to some, changing a tube is a little job. However, this goes to show that no matter the job, it was a priority and it was handled in a timely fashion. Thank you guys! I will be bringing you more of my business!

Worst customer service. Called looking for some fork oil for a 2014 450 KX. My brother can not find it in the smaller area he lives in. When I called and asked the gentleman on the phone was abrupt and rude. He asked questions without letting me finish answering the previous. After that short conversation I just said never mind Ill call elsewhere. I was trying g to support a small local business in my community. I have purchased 5 bikes in San Antonio, I know where to go. Something to be learned from the bigger shops, quality customer service goes a long way. My family and I love motorcycles, we are riders and racers. My nephew and brother race Motocross. We are not mechanics we count on you to gives information and teach us more. Well that has been my experience at Alamo Cycle Plex & Kent Power sports.

Every time Ive walked into this shop Ive been treated extremely rude. I first assumed it was because I was only buying smaller items. However recently I had to have some major services done and placed an order for several parts and had them quote me for the service. They seemed completely annoyed that theyd actually have to work. They told me the parts would be in within 2-3 days and would call me when they arrive. A week later they didnt call, I called in and they said "well did we call you yet?" I said no but it was over a week ago and they said it should be 2 days. "Oh well I have your parts right here." I asked whats there current wait time on service drop offs and he said "Everyone wants to drop their bike off tomorrow and pick it up yesterday." Ill never do business with these guys again.

I was at our hometown dealer a few hours away when I saw Universal Citys website and great price on the UTV we wanted. I called to make sure they still had the model at the advertised price and Gerry answered my call. Not only did he assure me he had several hed make a great deal on for me, he answered all of my questions, even calling me right back when he didnt know the answer off hand. We drove straight to Universal City and made a great deal, beating the other dealers "rock bottom" price by $900. This is the second vehicle weve bought from Gerry and hes given us great deals both times. Hes no nonsense and takes care of business. Stacy and Gail were pleasant and efficient in getting all of the paperwork done. Overall, we bought our new Kawasaki Teryx with very little fuss or muss.
