Highly disappointed with this store!! I was in recently shopping. I heard an announcement saying it was Clinique Bonus Time. I went to purchase. The sales associate was rude and acted as if I was interrupting her. There were about 5 or 6 associates just standing around. I told her what I needed. I knew the make up I use didnt meet the requirements for the free give, so I added a moisturizer. She never asked what size, with a pump or without, she just rang me up and I got what she gave me. In the announcement they said if you spent $55 or more you received two extra free gifts. Well, my total after tax was $55 and some change. So basically I was $3 away from the next gifts and she never mentioned it, and just rushed off to her associates. This is the second time this has happened to me at this store!! I will be purchasing my Clinique elsewhere from now on!!

I used to love to shop at Belks. I was there this past Tuesday and the store looked like a bargain basement. It was a mess! The mens department had all active wear our front. I could hardly find and "real" clothing. They had sale racks in the main area and in the way back with similar items. Some racks had so much on them you could not pull an item out without some falling on the floor. There was no continuity to the department at all. After the Belk family sold, I see a steady decline. I was trained by Federated Department Stores (Burdines and Macys) as a buyer and store manager, I can see the problems here.

Many snobby staff. Only a couple genuinely friendly and helpful personnel. If you look like you have money, based on what youre wearing, or old it appears, they are more willing to be of assistance. Guess what? Not everyone is insecure and needs to "wear their money" for shopping! The smartest wealthy people dont dress in anything more than shorts and tee. Belk should require frequent customer service classes for their staff to understand this. Shoe area is commonly in chaos here too.

So disappointed with what has happened with the Belk where I used to know and love to shop. Walking through the ladies clothes it looks like you are in Ross!! It is cluttered and the clothes look cheap...but are not!! Thank goodness cosmetics are available there. I actually just spent $250 at Chicos. If I pay the price, I want good merchandise!

Kelly the shoe salesman was fantastic! He was calm, and very helpful in the midst of the big shoe sale! I was visiting from Ohio and have never received service this good! He deserves an award!

Theres a lot of items here and the prices are good. It can be hard to find something you like (or the size you need). The staff isnt very helpful and friendliness is hit or miss.

No hassel returns and sales clerks are always helpful by providing coupons when I forget to bring mine. Always a great selection of on trend clothing! Love this store.

OH MY GOSH PARENTS!!! 50% off of 50% OFF I bought a ton of clothes for the upcoming season and my wallet didnt take a hit! Great deals good clothes.
